The wife of aLegend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer had an unbelievably smart idea to solve a puzzle in one of the game’s shrines.Tears of the Kingdomis famous for allowingZeldaplayers to build impressive vehiclesand weapons, and explore the world on their own terms, rewarding creativity at every step of the journey, and this case is a fine example of that.

Ever since its release a few months ago, the eagerly awaitedTears of the Kingdombecame a massive hit. Like its predecessor,Zelda: TotKhas a massive open world with several activities and secrets that only the most inquisitive gamers will find out. However, the title stood out when it came to its building mechanics and the care that its complex physics engine received. With new abilities such as Underhand and Fuse, gamers can create themost amazing inventions inZelda: TotK, and use them to walk around, kill enemies, or solve puzzles by coming up with unexpected solutions.

Now, aZelda: TotKplayer known as Unleashtheducks has shared their unique story about completing a puzzle in the Iun-orok Shrine. They were playing with their wife around and trying to solve a mystery for around half an hour. Then, their wife had an amazing idea that instantaneously solved the whole challenge without effort. She suggested Unleashtheducks use the Fuse ability to join together one of the iron balls found in the shrine and Link’s equipped staff. Then, they threw the newly made weapon at the target, completing the puzzle.

In the comments of the post, severalZeldaplayers talked about their experiences with this puzzle whencompleting the Iun-orok Shrine. For instance, Mattmattralus explained that the intended solution for the challenge is to line up the iron balls together and then use one to roll another, while SickBurnBro used only two of the three balls to solve the puzzle. Some people did not have the patience for that, however, and used bomb arrows to solve these puzzles, which is a pretty cool way to bypass some of the design entirely and save time while playing.

This is far from the only occurrence when aZeldaplayer was able to discover creative ways to playTears of the Kingdom. A few weeks ago, a smart gamer used Zonai devices together with Beam Emitters tocreate a rotating music player inZelda, which was an amazing use of the game’s building system.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomis available now on Nintendo Switch.
