There are several challenges inWuthering Waves, but the Backflip challenge is the most interesting one. Players must speak with a specific character to start the challenge in Jinzhou city. You don’t need to collect anything special to trigger this challenge, simply talk with the NPC and choose one of the available difficulties.
Challenges are a great way for players to gain extra rewards by playing mini-games orsolving puzzles inWuthering Waves. So, make sure to take advantage of theBackflip challengeto earn easy rewards.
How To Trigger And Complete The Backflip Challenge In Wuthering Waves
Speak with Xiuyi in front of theSouvenir Storein Jinzhouto start the challenge. There are three main difficulties for the Backflip challenge inWuthering Waves; easy, medium, and difficult. The first two modes can be completed using the same method, while the final difficulty requires more technique.
To complete the challenge, you mustperform at least 10 backflips in each difficulty without falling to the ground. Once Resonators complete a level, Xiuyi will reward two Supply Chests. After finishing the easy mode, you will also receive theFull House TrophyinWuthering Waves.
How To Complete The Easy Level
On the easy level, you need to backflip on a nine-squares cube. Since there is a lot of space, you canstand on any edge or corner to perform the backflip. Jump and quickly press the dash button to do a backflip midair.
How To Complete The Medium Level
As for the medium level, you get to perform on a four-squares cube. This is more tricky as there is not much room anymore. To win this level, use the same method as the easy difficulty, but instead of standing on any random edge,stand on one of the four corners and do the backflip. This method willensure that the character lands directlyon the opposite corner without falling.
How To Complete The Difficult Level
The difficult level is well… difficult, so prepare yourself for a lot of trial and error. Resonators need to do a backflip on a one-square cube, which is not that much space. There are two methods to complete the final level; falling and jumping.
Falling Method
The falling method is done byapproaching one of the cubes’ corners and walking off the edge. Immediatelypress the dash button while fallingto perform a backflip. By doing that,you give yourself an extra stepto ensure landing on the cube, but the downside is thatyou only have a split second to press the button.
Jumping Method
The jumping method, on the other hand, is easier but not as precise as the first. To do it,stand on one of the edges and jump forward to perform the backflip midair. You will mostly land in the middle of the cube, but sometimes,if the leap is too big or too far, you will fall to the ground, so the technique needs a bit of precision. Players can also try touse the Grapple tool inWuthering Wavesto save themselves from falling.
