Now,World of Warcrafthas given an official previewof these new customization options in a recent blog post. Troll characters have five new hair colors: a bright blue, green, and yellow, a light lavender, and a dark red. Draenei, on the other hand, get a single new dark gray skin color option.

Troll and Draenei Customizations

Warlocks, on the other hand, are getting a robust selection ofnew customizations for theirWorld of Warcraftdemons. Tyrants and Darkglares–neither of which received new options during the last Warlock customization revamp–are getting a total of 16 customizations between the two types of demons. Tyrants get five different color schemes, while Darkglares get 11; five using the Darkglare model, five Observers, and a single Beholder skin.

Warlock Demon Customizations

As always, fans are glad to get more customization options. The addition of more demon customizations is especially vibrant, as it allows players to customize even more of the demons they can summon through their various abilities. Customizations are a big priority for many MMORPG players, so adding moredepth to classes via these options is a big win forWorld of Warcraft.

That said, some players are disappointed by the small number of customization options coming in the patch for Trolls and Draenei. While the options themselves are nice, many think six new character customizations aren’t big enough to highlight as major features in a patch. Draenei recently got other skin colors viaa newWorld of Warcraftquest featuring the Man’ari, but compared to the huge number of options given to Highmountain Tauren, Lightforged Draenei, and Nightbourne in Patch 9.1.5, the handfuls of options given in recentDragonflightupdates have seemed disappointing.

Nevertheless, Trolls and Draenei have more to look forward to than these new customizations. BothWorld of Warcraftraces are getting Heritage Armor questsin Patch 10.2.7, expected sometime this spring. These new cosmetic sets are often accompanied by in-depth questlines, so fans of these playable races should keep an eye onWorld of Warcraft’s next few updates.
