OneWorld of Warcraftplayer had two of the rarest mounts in the game drop for them on the same day. With less than a 1% drop chance for each mount, this player is one of the luckiestWorld of Warcraftplayers in history.

MostWorld of Warcraftplayers and mount collectorsknow just how difficult Invincible and the Headless Horseman’s Mount are to acquire.World of Warcraftfan and Redditor Lyzosu now has to choose between which of these fantastic mounts to ride after acquiring them on the same day.

Invincible is known as one of therarest mounts inWorld of Warcraft. As the mount of the infamous Lich King, Invincible’s Reins is a rare drop from the Heroic 25 version of Icecrown Citadel. With only one attempt allowed per week per character, Invincible is quite rare. The Headless Horseman’s Mount, however, is even rarer. Though he can be summoned once per day per character, the Headless Horseman is only available during the Hallow’s End Halloween event inWorld of Warcraft, making his rare mount one of the hardest to acquire.

Lyzosu’s luck is truly absurd to quantify. Invincible’s Reins has a drop chance of approximately 1%, while the Headless Horseman has a drop chance of approximately .4%. This means Lyzosu receiving both mounts on the same day is roughly a 1 in 25,000 chance.

As one might expect, Lyzosu’s fellowWorld of Warcraftplayers were as happyfor them as they were jealous. Many players suggested Lyzosu go buy a lottery ticket, while others said they had used up all of their luck for the rest of their life. Some players said they complete the trifecta and go to Karazhan for the Fiery Warhorse from Attumen the Huntsman–another exceptionally rare undead horse mount. Some players even made jokes about being unable to see the achievement, referencing Invincible’s joking moniker of “Invisible” due to its absurdly low drop rate. Others made more direct puns, saying it was “reigning mounts,” and calling them the “reigning champion” of mount collection.

World of Warcraftis well on its way toward the release ofDragonflight. With thenew Dragonriding system inDragonflight, players will be able to customize their own mounts using over a hundred different customization options. Some of these cosmetics, like the Embodiment of the Storm-Eater, are likely to be rare drops from raids similar to Invincible. If Lyzosu’s luck holds out until the raid opens on December 13, perhaps they will be among the first to score this awesome new mount.
