World of Warcraftis giving away another item previously exclusive to the Trading Card Game in an upcoming Twitch Drop. Though this collectibleWorld of Warcraftitem was once only obtainable through the discontinued TCG, all players will soon be able to get it for free.

The Dancer’s Integrated Sonic Celebration Oscillator, more commonly known as the D.I.S.C.O. toy, is one of many collectibles players could earn by redeeming codes from theWorld of WarcraftTrading Card Game. Considering the TCG was discontinued in 2013, these toys, items, andmounts are some of the rarest inWorld of Warcraft.

Players can earn the D.I.S.C.O. toy by watching four hours ofWorld of Warcraftcontent on Twitch between March 21 and April 2, coinciding with therelease ofDragonflightPatch 10.0.7, after which the toy will then be unlocked on all characters. When used, the toy conjures a box and mirror ball that plays special disco music for a short while. During this time, any player can interact with the box to automatically dance along with the beat. Characters of any level can use the toy, and players in both factions can interact with it.

This isn’t the first timeWorld of Warcrafthas given away TCG exclusives as a Twitch Drop. It recently offered the Perpetual Purple Fireworks, Goblin Weather Machine, and Dragon Kite pet through Twitch to celebrateDragonflight’slaunch. It also offered theFeldrake mount to allWorld of Warcraftplayers for free–a rare mount worth $3000 before the promotion. It seemsWorld of Warcraftis finally starting to offer these TCG loot items for all players to obtain.

Many players are gladWorld of Warcraftis starting to give other ways to get these exclusive items. TheWoW TCGhas been discontinued for over 10 years, meaning even the cheapest loot cards have inflated costs that only rise with time. Most believe it would be a waste to allow these items to become unobtainable just to keep them rare.

Of course, some players who already had these items are less enthusiastic about them being given away as Twitch Drops. These players, especially those who purchased cards at marked-up prices, feel cheated by having the rewards now offered for free. Unfortunately, these players may be out of luck–World of Warcraftwill almost certainly have more Twitch Dropsthat offer TCG exclusives in the future.

World of Warcraftis available now for PC.
