World of Warcraftjust announced a pre-launch stream taking place alongside the beginning of phase two of theDragonflightpre-patch. The pre-launch stream will be hosted by severalWorld of Warcraftdevelopers as they premiere the officialDragonflightlaunch cinematic.

TheDragonflightpre-launch stream will take place on November 15 starting at 9 a.m. PST/12 p.m. EST. Players can tune in to the stream onWorld of Warcraft’sTwitchor Youtube channels, or directly on the official website.

During the pre-launch stream,World of Warcraftexecutive producer Holly Longdale and other members of theDragonflightdevelopment team will ring in the last major milestone before the full launch of the new expansion. Lead cinematic narrative designer Terran Gregory and cinematic director Anna Morgan will also take center stage to preview the officialDragonflightlaunch cinematic, which promises “an exhilarating experience of wind-swept action that soars in a high-definition adventure over the Dragon Isles.” MostWorld of Warcraftpatches go live at 10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. EST, so the stream will likely last for an hour, ending around the time when thesecond phase of theDragonflightpre-patch hits servers.

Players in theWorld of Warcraft: Dragonflightbeta noticeda new entry appeared in the in-game cinematic playback menu titled “To the Skies.” Clicking on the button did nothing, but its existence hinted a new cinematic was on its way. Now, players have confirmation that another pre-rendered cinematic is coming very soon.

TheDragonflightEpic Edition Collector’s Set artbookhas recently made its way into the hands of players who ordered it. In addition to excellent concept art, the book also showed off several cinematic-quality images of various characters like Emberthal, Wrathion, and Alexstrasza–also featured in the promotional art for the pre-launch stream. With the hints players have gotten so far, they can safely expect these characters to appear, likely alongside the other Aspects.

Phase two of theDragonflightpre-patch will have plenty for players to do in the two weeks before the expansion’s launch. The Primal Storms world event will be live, allowing players to combat the Primalists and their elemental minions across Azeroth for unique rewards. The firstDragonflightdungeon, Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr, will also open, offering players the first look at the plots and secrets of the new expansion. Lastly,World of Warcraftplayers will be able to create dracthyr Evokersand play through the new Forbidden Reach starting zone. With only a couple of weeks left untilDragonflight’slaunch, players won’t have to wait long to take flight and explore the Dragon Isles themselves.
