Just like many of the games that make up the ‘soulslike’ genre,Wo Long: Fallen Dynastycontains several unique or quirky mechanics that stand out from the rest. In a game that features demonic crocodiles and massive thunder gods with heads like a pig, that isn’t the easiest thing to accomplish. However, the loot-eating, panda bear demon Shitieshou certainly fit the bill.

Shitieshou are found throughoutWo Long: Fallen Dynasty, appearing in most main-story missions and several side-quests. These friendly little demons will eat any piece of equipment the player drops, and give back a random accessory. While the player never knows what they are going to receive, the general rule is; the higher rarity of the item given, the better the chance that the accessory returned will be equal or better.

“The Valley of Crying Wraiths”

Shitieshou 1:

The first Shitieshou can be found during the Part 2 mission, “The Valley of Crying Wraiths.” There will come a point where the player climbs a long ladder, crosses a bridge with a destructible area near the end, then finds a Battle Flag. It appears nearly two-thirds of the way through the stage. From that Battle Flag, follow the path down and around a fair ways, and the Shitieshou will be sitting right there, impossible to miss. As this is the first time the player will find one, it is clearly meant to be found.

“The Demon Fort of the Yellow Heaven”

Shitieshou 2:

From the corrupted Battle Flag that sits in the middle of the small village, head to the small building in the far corner. The Shitieshou is in the building with several jars and boxes blocking its view.

“The Flying Swallow of Heishan” - Sub-Mission

Shitieshou 3:

The third Shitieshou is located in this sub-battlefield. To find it, simply turn right and go between the two towers that are found just before the entrance to the boss arena. The loot demon will be found on the ground behind the tower on the right.

“In Search of the Immortal Wizard”

Shitieshou 4:

Just afterthe pool containing multiple Channgui enemies, there will be a curving staircase with a Battle Flag. Just after the flag, the Shitieshou can be found sitting on the ground.

“Shadow of the Sacred Mountain”

Shitieshou 5:

From the final Battle Flag, turn back down the river in the opposite direction from the boss. Turn right up the beach and head past the Marking Flag. Keep going down the bamboo lined path until there is a small shack visible to the left. Listen for the sounds of crashing pots, as that’s where the Shitieshou is located.

“Fall of the Corrupted Eunuch”

Shitieshou 6:

The sixth Shitieshou is near the end of “The Fall of the Corrupted Eunuch”. With the player’s back to the final Battle Flag, head past the small bridge on the left. There will be one wing of the large complex that the player just made their way through, and the Shitieshou is on the roof. Use the platform to reach the tiled roof of the structure, then head around and jump over the destroyed section. The Shitieshou will be sitting right where the roof meets the rest of the building.

“Escape From the Capital”

Shitieshou 7:

From the second Battle Flag, head inside the main building. Once inside, turn to the immediate left and head up and around the staircase. Jump across the sections of destroyed flooring to find the little loot demon.

“The Battle of Hulaoguan Pass”

Shitieshou 8:

The Shitieshou is found on top of the wall that rises above the battlefield. There are several ways to reach the top, but the closest point to the Shitieshou is using the siege tower on the left. From the Battle Flag that the player finds just before entering the region, keep on the left to reach the tower. At the top, lower the ramp to make it to the wall. Right where the tower meets the wall, a large wrestler enemy will be patrolling. The Shitieshou will be in the building just to the right. There will be another Battle Flag at the top of the ladder that is found right next to the loot-eating demon.

“Centuries of Glory Burned Away”

Shitieshou 9:

From the second Battle Flag, head in the direction of the torch that sits next to it. Continue down the until it is possible to turn left, there will be a cart and torch at the corner. Cut through to the open area and head slightly left to the back fence. The Shitieshou should be visible on approach.

“Darkness over the Hanshui River”

Shitieshou 10:

When the player reaches dry land after using the wreckage to cross the water, they will pass a large door guarded by two soldiers. After this door, there is a corrupted Battle Flag being guarded by a Leader Corpse Demon. Once that is cleared, the Shititshou can be found in the building right next to the flag.

“The Lost Sacred Artifact”

Shitieshou 11:

From the hole in the covered bridge that crosses the canal, drop onto the ledge below, then take out the super Shuigui at the end. The Shitieshou is at the very end of the canal, just head straight after dropping out of the hole in the bridge.

“Tyrant’s Final Banquet”

Shitieshou 12:

As players make their way past the fourth Battle Flag, through the various chambers with purple sludge, they will reach a chamber with a Zhupolong. The Shitieshou sits on a plank of wood in the same chamber. It is practically impossible to miss.

“Fate of the Entertainer”

Shitieshou 13:

In the courtyard after Battle Flag 2, Shitieshou 13 is found in a clearing behind a small bamboo thicket. As soon as players find Battle Flag 2, they’ll hear the distinctive sound of jars breaking. See above pictures for exact location.

“War’s Flames Blaze Fiercely”

Shitieshou 14:

From the fourth Battle Flag, turn left, then at the corner shown in the image. Take a quick right to see an enemy bent over examining Shitieshou 14.

“The Way of the Warrior”

Shitieshou 15:

After the third Battle Flag, there will be a small, raised rock area after the building on the left. The Shitieshou is sitting on top.

“The Uninhibited Heart”

Shitieshou 16:

From the room with several pillars and the large platform in the middle, head through the door in the above image. There will be a spider enemy on the ledge above, head to that ledge, and use the wood platform to reach the top. Head over into the next chamber to find a ladder leading to the inside of a dilapidated house. In the main mission, this area had a marking flag. Shitieshou 16 inhabits it now.

“Lu Bu, Mightiest Among Men”

Shitieshou 17:

The naughty loot demon can actually be seen up on its platform as soon as the player enters the large structure after making their way across the rooftops. The player can make their way around until they get to the right point to jump over to Shitieshou 17.

“Behold the Glaive of Righteousness”

Shitieshou 18:

In the foggy area of the stage, look for the bridge that crosses over a small arena. Here, the player will see a Suanyu (bird demon) patrolling. Cross the bridge and head left towards the building. Continue across the deck in front, then use the platforms to head up on the roof. Drop through the hole in the roof, but do not drop all the way down to the lower floors. There will be the dilapidated remnants of the floor that the player must use to reach the cuddly loot bear.

“The Assault on Wuchao” - Sub-Battlefield

Shitieshou 19:

From the second Battle Flag, there is stone-tiled hallway that leads to a Lieshe fight. As soon as the player enters the chamber, the shitieshou will be on the ground to the left.

“Let’s Make Our Armor Shine!”

Shitieshou 20:

From the second Battle Flag, head to the large ship that acts as the final barrier to the boss. Make sure not to leave the ship and enter the boss arena, as the player will not be able to do anything after defeatingWo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s Lieshe boss. Shitieshou 20 is at the very top of the ship, in a small room.

“Decisive Battle of Guandu”

Shitieshou 21:

From the stage’s final Battle Flag, drop to a path on the right and follow the path to an area below. There will be a Golden Cicada Shell and the only Shitieshou at the bottom.

How to Complete The Shitieshou Trophies/Achievements

There are two trophies/achievements related to the various Shitieshou in theWo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The first, titled “How Cute!”, is awarded the first time the player finds and feeds a Shitieshou. The second, “How Precious!”, is awarded when players find and feed every Shitieshou in the game.

With that accomplished, players can visit the hermit that resides behind Zuo Ci’s (Hermit Leader) house. All the Shitieshou will gather there after being found in the field. Speak with the caretaker hermit to receive several rewards.
