The main story ofAnimal Wellcan becompleted in around five hours or so, but that’s only just the beginning. There are still layers upon layers of secrets for players to uncover once the credits have finished rolling, including 16 secret rabbits that can be found scattered across the map.
Finding every secret rabbit inAnimal Wellcan be incredibly difficult for a variety of reasons. Reaching some requires precise platforming, while others can only be found by solving the most cryptic of clues. For those having trouble in either of these areas, the following guide should prove useful.
As of the time of writing, it appears as though it’s only possible to find 16 secret bunnies without the use of exploits. Players can get an additional nineAnimal Wellbunnies by using the Cheaters Ring, although this will prevent them fromsolving both the BDTP and the Wingdings puzzle, so they should think twice before doing so.

How to Find Secret Bunny #1 in Animal Well
To find the first secret bunny inAnimal Well, players will need tosolve the bunny mural, which can be found a few screens to the right of the area with the four animal statues. If they use the remote in this area, they’ll gain access to a secret control panel that can be used to make changes to the mural in the background. Making it look like the one shown in the image above will result in a secret passageway opening up to the player’s right, through which they’ll find the first secret rabbit.

To find the second secret bunny, players should head to the top right-hand corner of the map and look for a room with a chinchilla on a moving platform inside. If they look closely, they’ll see ➡️↗️➡️⬇️➡️↙️↙️➡️ behind the vines in the background, and playing this melody on the Animal Flute while in this room will warp players to a secret area containing the rabbit.
How to Find Secret Bunny #4 in Animal Well
Once players havecompleted the main story ofAnimal Welland obtained the upgraded Bubble Wand, they’ll be able to pass through a false wall in the area just beyond the two cranes. From there, they’ll need to navigate a snake-shaped chamber with spikes on all of the walls, which will eventually lead them back to the game’s starting area and the fourth secret rabbit.
How to Find Secret Bunny #5 in Animal Well
As players explore the world ofAnimal Well, they’ll come across a series of eight statues with map icons on them and numbers below. Placing these statues in order and then plugging the numbers on them into the flute cipher results in ↖️⬆️↘️⬇️↙️⬇️⬅️⬇️, which, when played on the Animal Flute, warps players to a secret area containing rabbit number five.
How to Find Secret Bunny #7 in Animal Well
In certain areas, players may notice a trail of sparkles moving across the screen. If ever they do, they should quickly pull out the UV Lantern and follow the trail until they come to an ultraviolet secret bunny. Its route appears to be pre-determined, but the best place to find it is in the area with the four animal statues. If players ride their Disc back and forth withthe UV Lanternactive, it becomes a simple matter of waiting until the rabbit shows up and then crashing into it. It may take a few minutes for this to happen, but this method arguably beats running around on a wild rabbit chase.
How to Find Secret Bunny #8 in Animal Well
A few screens to the left of the animal statues, players will find a room with a large fish mural on the back wall. Using the UV Lantern in this area will reveal the code ⬅️⬅️↘️➡️↗️⬅️⬅️↗️, which, when played on the Animal Flute, takes players to a secret area containing the eighth rabbit.
How to Find Secret Bunny #9 in Animal Well
InAnimal Well’s starting area, there’s a room with a ghost inside but no candle. If players pull out the Animal Flute and play it in a clockwise circle (➡️↘️⬇️↙️⬅️↖️⬆️↗️), this ghost will transform into a cute little bunny, allowing players to collect secret rabbit number nine.
How to Find Secret Bunny #10 in Animal Well
In the top right-hand corner of the map, there’s a room with eight crows in it. If players play the same notes that the crows sing on their Animal Flute, a secret bunny will appear at the top of the screen. Players should be sure to touch it quickly once it jumps down though, as the crows can sometimes become hostile and tear the playable character to shreds.

In the top right-hand corner of the map, there’s a room with the classic rabbit/duck image painted on the left side of the back wall. On the opposite side are a series of faces, which, when plugged into the flute cipher, result in ⬆️⬇️⬆️⬇️⬅️➡️⬅️➡️. If players play this melody on their Animal Flute while standing near the duck to the right of the four animal statues, it will transform into one ofAnimal Well’s secret bunnies.
How to Find Secret Bunny #12 in Animal Well
Secret bunny 12 is one of the easiest to obtain. To do so, players will simply need to sit idle for a little while until the playable character falls asleep and then wait for it to start dreaming about a bunny. As soon as it does, they should jump up and touch the bunny in the bubble, as doing so will unlock the twelfth secret rabbit.
How to Find Secret Bunny #13 in Animal Well
In the game’s starting area, there’s a mural in the background showing several bulbs. These correspond to the game’s save slots, each of which gives off a series of sparkles when players start a new game. By looking at the direction of these sparkles, players get the code ➡️⬇️⬅️⬆️➡️⬇️↖️↗️ ➡️⬇️⬅️⬆️↘️↙️↖️↗️, which will warp them to an area containing secret rabbit 13 when played with the Animal Flute.
How to Find Secret Bunny #14 in Animal Well
Of all of the secret bunnies inAnimal Well, the fourteenth is by far the hardest to reach. To do so, players will first need to head to the room with the three dogs. If the false wall in the top right-hand corner is blocked off, they should head one room right anduse the Remote. Assuming it’s not though, they’ll need to stand behind the false wall and then use the Bubble Wand to exit the area via the left side without touching the ground. They’ll need to pass straight through the next area as well, then head up through the nearest gap in the ceiling when they reach the room with the ghost dog. Spamming bubbles down can help a lot here, though players should pay close attention to the positions of the wooden platforms, as landing on one of these will mess things up. Once in the bear warp room, players should head up one more screen and then use the Remote. From there, they can head back down to the area with the bear head and exit via the right-hand side. Finally, they’ll want to fall into the water, being sure to pull out the lantern before making contact with the ghosts above it. If done correctly, players will be returned to the room with the three dogs, only this time, they’ll be able to exit via the top right-hand corner. Doing so will take them to a button, which, when pushed, opens up a secret area containing bunny number 14.
How to Find Secret Bunny #16 in Animal Well
If players make their way to the house (↘️↖️↘️↖️↘️↖️↘️↖️) and use the remote eight times, they’ll see a series of faces on the television screen. Plugging these into the flute cipher results in ↗️↖️↙️↘️⬆️⬅️⬇️➡️, which, when played on the Animal Flute, will cause a secret bunny to leap out of the TV.

Finding all 64 secret eggs will provide players with the notes needed to play the egg song (↖️⬇️➡️⬇️↖️⬇️➡️⬇️ ↖️↙️↘️↙️↖️↙️↘️↙️ ↗️⬅️⬇️⬅️↗️⬅️⬇️⬅️ ⬆️⬅️↘️⬅️⬆️⬅️↘️⬅️ ↖️⬇️➡️⬇️↖️⬇️➡️⬇️ ↖️↙️↘️↙️↖️↙️↘️↙️ ↖️↗️↖️↙️↗️⬆️⬅️⬇️ ⬆️↖️↙️⬅️⬆️↖️⬅️↖️), which, when played in the egg room, opens up a secret chamber containing the Office Key. Taking this to the house will allow players to access the upstairs office, with those playing the game on PC able to print off a special origami bunny by interacting with the computer. Making this bunny will give them the code ➡️↗️⬆️⬅️↖️⬆️⬅️⬇️, and playing this in-game will reward them with the Origami Figure. It also causes secret bunny 17 to jump out of the PC in the office.
How to Find Secret Bunny #18 in Animal Well
To find secret bunny 18, players should return to the Mock Disc shrine and grab the Mock Disc. As soon as they do so, they’ll want touse the Animal Flute to fast travel to the warp roomand then head through the brown bear head on the right. Once on the other side, they should leave the room via the exit in the bottom left-hand corner and then head down one more screen. In this next area, players will need to navigate through the hedgehog block maze and stand next to the rabbit dog statue in the top right-hand corner of the screen. When the Ghost Cat gets close, the statue will turn into a secret rabbit, which players should touch before the Ghost Cat kills them.
How to Find Secret Bunny #20 in Animal Well
The last ofAnimal Well’s secret rabbits is another tricky one, requiring some very precise button presses. Before all that, though, players will need to make their way to the swordfish room in the top left-hand corner of the map and then exit through a secret gap in the ceiling. In this next area, players will need to jump and throw their Disc while they’re at the highest point, which, if done correctly, will allow the playable character to ride it over the spikes. Three of these jumps are needed to safely navigate the area, at the end of which, players will find the final secret rabbit waiting patiently for them.
What to Do After Finding All Animal Well Bunnies (BDTP Solution)
Once players have found all of theAnimal Wellbunnies, they’ll be ready to take on the BDTP, which takes its name from a message on the blackboard in the upstairs area of the house. To solve this perplexing puzzle, they’ll need to head to the platform that’s unlocked as part ofAnimal Well’s true ending, where they should find all of the secret rabbits waiting for them. Using the directions of the rabbits' ears, players can obtain yet another code, which turns out to be a set of directions. While riding a Manticore, they’ll want to head to the flag on the far right side of this platform and then exit the screen in the directions indicated below. Doing so will lead them to a secret area, where they’ll be able to unlock a game-changing ability.
