Call of Duty: Warzone 2fans are going to need to wait a little bit longer still for the game’s official Combat Records feature, according to official sources. Combat Records is a comprehensive in-game utility that keeps track of all the players' statistics and gameplay information, but developers have reported issues with getting it implemented inCOD’s latest offering.
WhileCall of Duty: Warzone 2has attracted a huge player base already, some may be surprised by the fact thatWarzone 2is missing a number of UI-related features and functionalities at launch. Combat Records are a prime example of one such feature, and though it was supposed to come as part of the game’s big Season 1 Reloaded update, this is no longer going to be the case.

Though the developers have been tight-lipped as to what, exactly, is making Combat Records so problematic to implement inWarzone 2, the new tweet provides some context as to what might be going on in the background. Namely, the issue appears to be in the “accuracy of the data population,” and it makes sense that Combat Records would need to be rather precise in what ends up being presented to players. Though the update won’t have Combat Records included,Warzone 2is getting a special soccer mode, which may be considered a fair replacement in some ways.
The Season 1 Reloaded content update promises a number of potentially substantial additions to bothWarzone 2andModern Warfare 2in general. Specifically,Warzone 2players can unlock Gaz and Chimeravia in-game challenges and assorted marketplace bundles, as well as a variety of other interesting items.
Potentially the biggest and most exciting new feature that’s coming as part of Season 1 Reloaded, however, isn’t necessarily related toWarzoneitself.Modern Warfare 2’s first-ever Raid missionpromises an exciting new take on the classic co-op multiplayer action. Built on top of the game’s Spec Ops framework, the Atomgrad Raid is going to be a long and involved mission that will feature characters from the main campaign as they lead a squad of players through a new conflict.
As exciting as these developments may be, the fact that a number of key features are missing from a high-profile title such asWarzone 2and have no firm release date available is bound to leave a bad taste for many players. Improvements forWarzone 2’s less-than-stellar UIand various other features are coming, however, and the developers have promised to provide updates in due time.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
