Twitchstreamer Asmongold recently announced that he would take a small break from streaming to rest and relax a bit. However, when one of hisTwitchstream followers responded to the announcement with criticism, the content creator was quick to fire back.
Asmongold and criticism are not exactly strangers, as his fans tend to find reasons to criticize him a decent amount of the time. Sometimes it’s about the decisions he makes when it comes to games he’s played, likeDiablo Immortal. Other times the criticism is fixated more on some of his lifestyle choices. The streamer has often talked about the fact that the way he lives his life definitely works for him. It’s because of those claims and his recent announcement that he’s going to be taking a little break that seemingly opened the door for criticism, according to one of his fans.

Not long after Asmongold announced he was going to take a break from Twitch in order to catch up on some sleep, the fan hit back at him on Twitter, citing the “duality” of the streamer. The fan went on to mock Asmongold by throwing his own words back at him, including that he “never gets sick.” He then claimed the Twitch star cancels streams “one or twice a week.” But the fan’s comments didn’t go unchallenged.
Asmongold fired back on the social media site, starting the tweet with a question mark and then making it clear that he has talked about one of the reasons he mighttake a break from Twitch. Right at the top of the list of why he might need to take a step back is that he has talked more than once about how he needs more sleep. He made it clear that the one exception to his claims about feeling great and living the life he wants.
It turned out that Asmongold didn’t have to go up against the criticism of this fan by himself. One of themost popular streamers on Twitch, he had some fans who were willing to come to his defense. One replied on Twitter that it the content creator doesn’t postpone streams multiple times per week. The fan then added at least one recent cancellation was only because Asmongold came down with food poisoning.
For his part, theTwitchcelebrity doesn’t seem fazed by the criticism, and it doesn’t appear it’s going to change his plans. Considering there are times whenAsmongold has been forced to go on breaks, the might enjoy that this one is his choice.
