Despite many streamers now playing the game, one star recently declared that he was done with the battle royale.

Known for hisWarzonestreams, TimTheTatman is one of the biggest names in streaming. However, like many otherCall of Dutystreamers, he became frustrated withWarzoneafter cheaters started to ruin the gameplay experience. This causedpopular figures like NICKMERCS, CouRage, and Dr. Disrespect to look for other options to play likeApex Legends. Even Tim decided to try Respawn’s competitive battle royale. Unfortunately for those that want to see TimTheTatman stick with the game, he seems to have other ideas.

In a recent stream, TimTheTatman told his chat about a discussion he had with Dr. Disrespect about the differences betweenApex LegendsandWarzone. After the Doc tried to get the popular streamer to jump back intoRanked on World’s Edge, Tim had a simple yet definite response. “No,” he said. Up until the recent waves of hackers impacted the game, TimTheTatman had playedWarzoneconsistently since its release last year. “I enjoy playingWarzone,” he commented.

TimTheTatman went on to give his reasoning behind the decision to ditchApex Legendsand return to the streets of Verdansk. According to Tim, the gameplay often feels unexciting. He claimed that there is an overreliance on rotating and not enough focus on fighting, encouraging camping. In response to Dr. Disrespect’s attempts to get him to play, TimTheTatman used the Doc’s famous catchphrase. He recalled his response saying, “Doc, you’re violence, speed, momentum.Apexis get a kill and then rotate.” He noted that these elements were missing from the game and that the gameplay seemed slow in comparison toWarzone.

Many players in theApex Legendscommunity are disappointed to see the streamer declare that he is done with the game. Even professional player ImperialHal chimed in. “Oh Tim you have so much to learn,” he said. Others disagreed with Tim’s criticisms claiming that they believecamping is a bigger issue inWarzone.

This news comes as TimTheTatman recently signed a new contract with YouTube. Now that he is on the platform, he can play with his friend Dr. Disrespect again. However, with the Doc and NICKMERCS continuing to want him to playApex Legends, it will be interesting to see if Tim stands by his decision not to return to the game in the future.
