9Swim In The Lagoon

The lagoon in Tartosa is one of the more eye-catching attractions the new world has to offer. With a small beach, loungers, and a large waterfall pouring into the lagoon,it’s the perfect way for Sims to relax.

Tartosa’s lagoon is more than just a pretty sight, however, as Sims can cool off with a relaxing swim with their significant other on their romantic escapade where they can enjoy the sounds of nature and running water away from prying eyes (assuming other couples won’t have the same idea).

8Draw In The Sand

One of the new introductions added toThe Sims 4with the arrival ofMy Wedding Storiesis the ability for Sims to draw different types of designs in the sand for fun on any of the world’s beaches. While this can also be done on other worlds’ beaches such as Sulani, the romantic beaches and quiet lagoons offer soft sands that make leaving a mark on the romantic setting nigh irresistible.

7Learn Tartosa’s History

In addition to fantastic scenery, Tartosa’s neighborhoods are filled witharchitecture and landmarks that were shaped by the history of the world. While Sims visit the world of Tartosa, they’ll find a new interaction when talking with other Sims there to discuss “Grapevine Gossip.”

If the Sims know anything about the rumors in Tartosa, they’ll tell the player brief stories and rumors that provide insight, backstory, and legends behind the landmarks and lives within Tartosa, bringing both life and magic into the corners of each neighborhood.

6Visit The Lovers' Tree

On the cliffs of Tartosa stands one of the larger, and far older, loving landmarks hidden away in the new world. After crossing the large wooden walkway winding over the falls and lagoon, Sims will find themselves on a cliff with a large, knotted tree with a wide trunk and winding branches.

In the twisted trunk of the tree are two embracing figures that earned the tree its name. Whether the scene of a date, proposal or just an ordinary walk through the gorgeous scenery Tartosa has to offer, there’s no denying there’s something both poetic and mysterious about the Lovers’ Tree the player may discover during their time there.

Whether they’re there to taste test for a future wedding banquet, or just grab a bite to eat between swimming and sightseeing, Tartosa’s food stalls provide a fun and convenient way tokeep sims’ needs taken care ofwhile they explore the town or prepare for an upcoming wedding.

4Buy Flowers And Wedding Bouquets

For anySimsplayers who are planning a wedding or even just missing a specific type of flower for their Sim’s garden, a small flower shop by Tartosa’s fountain is bound to have what they’re looking for. In addition to having an array of different wedding bouquets for Sims to choose from, players can choose to buy individual flowers.

They’ll find a great catalog of common, uncommon, and rare flowers that otherwise would have been difficult to track down. Because of this, the flower shop in Tartosa is an essential stop for any players hoping tomake the most out of their garden or cottage.

3Sample Wedding Cake

In addition to ordinary food stalls around town, Tartosa also has a bakery downtown where players can buy their wedding cakes before the big day for households that don’t want to bake their own. If just buying one isn’t immersive enough for the player, though, they can also have Sims buy and eat individual slices of different types of cake as a fun way to satisfy their hunger whileadding a little more immersionto the wedding process. There’s no limit to the number of cake slices a Sim can buy, so the whole household can be included if the player feels like doing so.

2Shop At Tartosa’s Boutique

One of the bigger problems Tartosa fixed with weddings was the introduction of far more attire choices for Sims attending or throwing their own wedding. While in the past, Sims getting married usually had a narrow set of choices that usually took some work to customize.

My Wedding Storiesintroduces a far wider catalog of wedding outfits for players to choose from. This can be done in Create A Sim by simply making a new formal wear outfit, or done in the boutique in Tartosa. Sims that do buy directly from the store, however, will often enjoy themselves far more and even get a mood buff after their outfit is picked out.

1Host A Wedding

For a Game Pack tailored around romance and the wedding experience, it should come as no surprise that Tartosa is easily at the top of the list for places to host a wedding inThe Sims 4. In addition to the wedding venue already in the world by default, players who prefer a different aesthetic or culture for their Sim weddings can choose and place a few different wedding venues that are added to their library with the pack. Whether it’s a simple ceremony on the beach or an extravagant party in the mountains, there won’t be a world more built for a wedding than Tartosa.
