Fans are able to collect a wide assortment of decorative items inStarfield, all of which can be used to add a more personal touch to habitable spaces from starship interiors to custom planetary outposts.

While Bethesda’s massively ambitious space-based RPG is little over a month old, fans have already demonstrated their creativity through many ways both inside and outside of the game. With players able to customize and upgrade their ownspaceships to live in and exploreStarfield’s galaxy with, it’s no surprise that building custom spaceships has proven to be one of the most appealing and prevalent activities among the game’s community. Even aside from that, players can let loose by building their own planetside bases and outposts on the surface of practically any explorable planet or moon in the game.

While players have spent hours toying around with other in-game features such as the physics and extensive character customization options, one player has used their real-world crafting skills to crochet some adorable plushies directly inspired by the My Friend Wilby plushes that can be found asitems throughout the galaxy inStarfield. These fantastic dolls were created and by the Reddit user known as sentientrover, who shared the crochet pattern for the project in a link attached to the original post. So far, the creator has made two of the unique My Friend Wilby dolls that can be found inStarfield,and they are fully intent on creating the remaining three as crocheted plushes as well.

This isn’t the community’s first venture intorecreating popularStarfielditems in the real world, with several fans cooking certain exotic food recipes inspired by dishes found in the game and others even recreating the fast food items known as Chunks in the real world too. Players have had plenty to experiment with in-game as well, with fans putting together some incredible and unique projects ranging from sandwich domino courses to spaceships containing as many sets of ladders as possible.

Starfield’s ship building mechanicshave several layers of depth, allowing fans to complete some mind-blowing projects from highly efficient battleships of custom design to literal space trucks built out of cargo containers. With many in theStarfieldcommunity hard at work on mods for the game already, only time will tell how fanmade content might help further inspire creativity later down the line.
