Star Citizen’sspacecraft originate from various manufacturers, one of the oldest being Anvil Aerospace. Anvil was founded in 2772 and produces both civilian and military crafts. Similar to Aegis, Anvil has provided ships and equipment for the United Empire of Earth and their Navy division.

This is why players can see so many of their ships targeted toward space combat and defense. However, they have also designed and built great ships for explorative purposes that feature weaponry to compete with the deadly ships inStar Citizen.

This guide will highlight Anvil’s best ships and why players should consider adding them to their arsenal. If players can’t afford some of these ships, there are somegreat ways to make money fast within the game.

Anvil Arrow

TheAnvil Arrow stands out among the light fightersas one of the game’s fastest and most agile ships. Although the Arrow may be lacking in shields and armor (1 size 1 shield generator) its dexterity allows the ship to avoid oncoming fire with the right pilot.

These fast maneuvers pair well with its 2 size 3 weapon mounts and size 3 turret. By moving into a blind spot or vulnerable position and unloading multiple cannons, the Arrow can quickly dispatch most High-Risk Target (HRT) bounties. The 4 missile racks also carry 6 size 2 missiles allowing for engagements at a slightly longer range. The folding wings allow the ship to change its profile when landing or storing. Although this won’t make a huge change in combat, it can make space for storage in a ship such as the C2 Hercules.

At less than 1 million aUEC, most players can easily get their hands on this small fighter and begin taking on some more challenging targets.

Anvil Carrack

The Anvil Carrack is widely considered one of the best ships inStar Citizen. As a ship with 4 tiers consisting of a cargo hold, hanger, medical bay, and much more , there is no activity in the game that the Carrack cannot handle with ease.

The Carrack comes standard with its own C8 Pieces that can purposefully fit in the hanger. This can be used as a scout ship to infiltrate hard-to-reach areas and use less fuel when navigating planetary surfaces. A tier 1 med bay allows the Carrack to act as its own respawn point. This opens up lots of opportunities in many facets of the game. As a mobile base for large crews, the Carrack is a formidable force to face.

Star Citizen Anvil Pisces

The rover bay in the bottom can easily fit most ground vehicles, the best fit being the Ursa Rover. Although it is possible to fit small snub fighters in this area, it can be a little tricky getting them in and out.

The cargo bay can be found just behind the rover bay and stores up to 456 SCU. This is one of the biggest cargo holds in the game making it a great option for those running elicit or dangerous commodities.

Star Citizen Anvil Hurricane Fighter

The pilot doesn’t have direct access to any cannons but can fire missiles in long-range engagements. The size 5 turrets found around the hull of the Carrack can easily fend off pirates or take on extreme-risk bounties when fully crewed. On top of this, the 2 size 3 shield generators make it tricky for small fighters to deal damage to the large sub-capital ship.

Unfortunately, the Carrack is currently the second most expensive ship in the game at 26,657,500 aUEC making it hard for most players to purchase. By bundling together cash from multiple friends or players, large groups can easily make this a collective purchase - this isn’t the recommended way to access ships inStar Citizen.

Star Citizen Anvil Valkyrie

Anvil C8 Pisces

The C8 Pisces is a great starter ship that players can purchase from the beginning of their experience in the game. At only 400k aUEC players can purchase this with a little time spent in the verse.

With only 4 SCU of physical storage, this won’t see much usage for large profit cargo hauling, however, it is great for moving items a short distance or returning cargo to a larger capital ship.

With 2 size 1 weapons, the Pisces can engage in light combat but cannot be recommended formore difficult bounty contracts. This is where another variant of the C8 can become useful.

The C8X Pisces Expedition comes with 2 additional weapons essentially doubling the damage output of the standard variant. With the same utility and systems, it’s hard to see why players wouldn’t choose this variant over the standard option.

Alternatively, there is the C8R Pisces Rescue which acts as a medical variant. This features a tier 3 medical bay in the rear allowing players to heal back to full health and help other players who may be injured or in trouble. Unfortunately, this cannot act as a respawn point.

Anvil Hurricane - Heavy Fighter

The Anvil Hurricane is arguably the best heavy fighter inStar Citizendue to its heavy damage output, shields, and maneuverability for such a large ship.

The Hurricanecompetes with one of Aegis’ best ships, the Vanguard Warden. This is also a heavy fighter which also claims to be the best in class. With a physicalized internal space and beds, the Warden certainly is far more versatile. However, there are a few features that set the Hurricane slightly ahead of itscompetition when it comes to space combat.

The pilot has access to 2 size 3 repeaters, making it rather deadly on its own. Pairing this with the turret that features 4 size 3 repeaters makes it even more deadly. Having these 6 canons firing on a single target can easily overpower most enemies. The firepower can also be split between multiple targets making it great for significant battles.

As for shields, the Hurricane has a size 2 generator. Although this may not be much, its hull strength more than makes up for it.

At a cost of 1.2 million aUEC, it is an incredibly affordable option for players looking to engage in more challenging and high-risk missions with a friend. When comparing this to the cost of the Vanguard, the Hurricane is a great option even when on a budget.

Anvil Valkyrie

Last but definitely not least is the Anvil Valkyrie. This ship plays an interesting role inStar Citizenas its main feature isn’t fully realized nor developed in the game.

As a dropship, the Valkyrie is specialized in getting troops to the front line of the battle with ease. Unfortunately, there aren’t many activities in the game that require this sort of gameplay (other than something like the Siege of Orison).

Luckily the Valkyrie does come equipped with some awesome firepower and defensive measures:

With all these turrets, the Valkyrie can engage with multiple targets at once, including ground targets with the door turrets. These are great when engaging in combat around an area such as Jump Town as there may be a high volume of enemy troops here.

Although the Valkyrie isn’t an essential ship to add to a player’s arsenal, it can be fun to load up a large crew and take on some foes at the dangerouslocations found around the Stanton system.
