In celebration of the current Splatfest, aSplatoon 3player makes cookies in the form of the series' iconic Inklings. Splatfests areSplatoon 3’s largest in-game events and get the game’s entire player base involved in friendly competition.

In each Splatfest inSplatoon 3, players choose from one of three teams, each represented by one member of the in-game band Deep Cut, that they will play for in the game’s signature Turf War battles. Each Splatfest is themed around a certain topic with the current one being food-themed and having players choose Team Spicy represented by Shiver, Team Sweet headed by Frye, or Team Sour led by Big Man. Once a Splatfest reaches halftime after 24 hours, the game’s uniqueTriColor Turf Warswill begin, now bringing all three teams to duke it out on one stage, a major change compared to typical battles. TriColor Turf Wars will continue until the Splatfest ends after 48 total hours.
