Additionally, this seems to be the first step in Miles getting his solo project set within the MCU and is a joint decision that involved both Feige and Amy Pascal.
Richtman also previously revealedSony wanted Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield back forSpider-Man 4, which seemed to be the primary basis of contention between the Marvel Studios and Sony execs.
