Halo View and Halo Band are both part of Amazon’s fitness tracking product line. The Halo Band is a simpler device hidden under a fabric wristband, but shares many of the same features as the Halo View with AMOLED display.

Amazon’s Halo Band includes basic features like step counting, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking with quality of sleep score. The bands are water-resistant and swim-proof to 50 meters, and can thus track water exercise. Halo Band connects to the mobile device with Bluetooth and shares data with the smartphone’s Amazon Halo app. Addition tools via the app’s library include help from professionals at Lifesum and SWEAT, healthy recipes from the likes of Whole Foods, and daily meditation sessions from Headspace. Halo Band is compatible withAmazon’s voice-enabled assistant Alexa, which can help with simple questions and requests, including providing health summaries.
All Halo Band purchases also come with a six-month free Halo membership, which renews at $3.99 per month. Membership benefits include additional features like more workout programs and better exercise analysis with exclusive tools. Members can also access body composition measurements with body fat percentage, a better way to measure health than BMI alone, and tone of voice analysis for better communication.
