In July 2022, Rockstar Games announced thatRed Dead Onlinewould not receive any other major update, as the studio reallocated resources to the development of the next main entry in theGrand Theft Autofranchise.

Despite this decision to slow down the development ofRed Dead Online, Rockstar Games announced a variety of new content coming to its online adventure game this month. Players who complete Free Roam Events this August will receive double the amount of money and experience points, as well as an assortment of rewards changing each week until September 4. These Free Roam Missions depend on eachRed Dead Onlineplayer’s honor level, being randomly given by new and existing characters throughout the world. Moreover, Rockstar Games teased that a new telegram from “J” should be coming in later this month with new content for players to discover.

Players can gather a lot of experience points and money inRed Dead Onlinethis August. Completing Free Roam Missions, the weekly rotating Featured Series, the story missions fromRed Dead Online’s A Land of Opportunities, fighting waves of enemies in Call to Arms, or completing races dole out double rewards upon completion until September 4.
