EachPS Plusgame, of course, is a bit more involved than that, so for those who want a more complete breakdown, here’s what everyone needs to know about these games.
PS Plus – First Class Trouble (PS4/PS5)
First-Class Troubleis a social deduction gamein a vein similar toAmong Us. In it, humans are trying to take down CAIN (the Central Artificial Intelligence Network) and its Personoids, with the latter pretending to be human and killing off players. Six players are in a match of First Class Trouble: Four Residents, Two Personoids. Residents must completely objectives around the map, while Personoids lie and deceive players, aiming to kill them in all the unique and fun waysFirst Class Trouble allows.
PS Plus – Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning (PS4)
Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoningis aremaster of a classic high fantasy 2012 game. As a remaster, it’s pretty middling in terms of applied improvements and the like, but it does come with the DLC and is expected to receive a new one soon. It follows the adventures of the Fateless One, who can be either Civilized Humans, Dark Elves, Light Elves, or Nomadic Humans, expanding their class trees and abilities down the fighter, rogue, or mage paths (mixing and matching as they please). Destinies, which are unlocked by in-game actions, add more buffs on top of that.
Combat is pretty straightforward: button pressing, QTE events, a slow-motion mode known as Reckoning mode that allows for Fateshifting enemies and quickly defeating them, and more. There are a ton of weapons that players can utilize to make the most of their build and aid them on their journey to defy fate.

PS Plus – Knockout City (PS4/PS5)
Knockout Cityis a team-based multiplayerdodgeball game, and it’s about as straightforward as it seems. Players must attack enemies with balls that spawn around the map, and there are multiple types like the Moon Ball (which allows players to jump higher) or the Bomb Ball (explodes on enemy contact). Throws are a matter of skill, focusing on accuracy, precision, positioning, and strategy—even allowing for other aspects such as fake throwing and tackling opponents with a ball.
Progress through the game unlocksKnockout city’s Holobucks to purchase customization items or their characters during their missions in all of the game’s futuristic maps. Some game modes include Team KO (TDM), Diamond Dash (players have to collect what players drop), and more.Knockout Cityis also getting a KO Royale modesoon. Overall, it’s a fun, if silly, multiplayer title.

Each adventuring intoThe Persistencechanges thanks to the swapping decks, with stealth being a solid option for dodging the new creatures aboard the ship. DNA material can be used for various upgrades, which are retained every time the player begins anew run inThe Persistence.Death only forces the clone into another body, and it is not the end.
The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners’ VR gameplayputs a different spin on death not being the end, as players must fight the living and the undead to survive a New Orleans at war. One mystery arises that could end this war, putting all of this pressure on the player to set things right.

Gameplay consists of crafting, exploration, important choices, and bloody combat (as should be for aWalking Deadgame). In VR, layers can use physics-based objects composed of melee, ranged, and makeshift weapons; knock a walker’s head clean off with these weapons, sometimes having to rip the weapon stuck in their skull out; creep through streets and old mansions, in search for supplies and more; and climb buildings, cars, and walls to get all of this done.
The emphasis on choice in how to get all of this done is interesting too, as players can choose to go in guns blazing or sneaking, rely on different factions for missions, protect people or murder them, and make choices that impact thecity of New Orleansforever.

Until You Fallwraps up thePS Plus and PSVR game offeringsthis month, and it is a VR sword fighting experience. Players can utilize melee and magic as they fight hundreds of enemies and form their own style of combat, sometimes adapting it for one monster or another.Until You Fallis described as a rogue-lite except where, as players die, progress is kept through the game. Overall, the focus on combat makes this a fun if straightforward experience.
