The latest expansion forPokemon SwordandShieldhas recently released, and players are nowadventuring through Crown Tundra, a frigid corner of the Pokemon world with plenty of secrets to uncover. If they find themselves missing the warm, sunny Alola region, there is a way to download a memento of their journeys there. By using a special code, players can add an Alola Cap Pikachu to their collection.
The code was posted via Twitter by Play Pokemon and allows players to download a Pikachu that is wearing a cap with the Alola symbol. But that’s not all. There are six other Pikachu available, each wearing a different cap that represents the various regions from the games, from Kanto to Kalos. All thatPokemon SwordandShieldplayers have to do is follow the link provided in the post, input the codes, and then plenty of Pikachu will be added to their collections.

One of the most exciting parts of Crown Tundra is sheer amount of the Legendary Pokemon available to catch. There are new ones, of course, but also a ton of older ones from various regions and games, such as the iceberg Pokemon Regice. Battling and catching Legendary Pokemon will require some work, and there are certain tasks that need to be completed before they become available. To catch the frosty fellow mentioned above, players will need to make their way to Snowslide Slope. Then, they will need tosolve a puzzle to catch Regice, but it is a pretty simple one to accomplish.
Regice is just one of the Legendary Titans contained within four different ruins around Crown Tundra. Players can unearth the rest if they know where to find them, or they can also seek out Legendary Pokemon from other past regions, such as the Unova region. Introduced inPokemon Black & White,Virizion is available to catchbut also has requirements to make it available. Virizion is one of the Swords of Justice and accepting a quest of the same name will be required to seek it out. Then it is just a matter of following footprints and tracking it down.
As if all of the Legendary Pokemon weren’t enough, players can also find Ultra Beasts roaming Crown Tundra. These Pokemon from other dimensions were first introduced inPokemon SunandMoon.Many of them look very different from traditional Pokemon, but that’s part of their appeal. Players cancatch several Ultra Beasts, but there are a lot of requirements before doing so. The first thing they will want to do is complete Crown Tundra’s main story.
