A Redditor known as MDSM_art posted a drawing of their idea for a Paradox Vaporeon that would fit intoPokemon Scarlet and Violetquite well. The artist named their creation Iron Fins, which gives the Water-Type a robotic look. The Pokemon keeps much of Vaporeon’s characteristics, such as the yellow fins on its head and the spikes that run along its tail. However, the pocket monster that MDSM_art came up with looks like it was put together with steel plates, and has purple LED eyes. The artist did a good job of retaining Vaporeon’s characteristics while still giving it the look of a machine.
MDSM_art asked commenters what Type that they feel Iron Fins would be and got a few different answers. A number of Reddit users chimed in, with the two most popular Typing combinations being Water/Steel and Water/Electric. One gamer mentioned that the Pokemon could be Ice/Steel and have an ability called Liquid Cooling that would make it resistant toFire-Typeattacks. A number of gamers are enjoying MDSM_art’s idea for a Paradox Vaporeon and are coming up with great ideas for the pocket monster. Iron Fins is a great concept and can easily fit in with the other futuristic creatures found inPokemon Violet.
Iron Fins is not the only Paradox Pokemon that MDSM_art has come up with. The artist stated that they are currently working their way through all theEeveelutions, having already completed a few of them. This includes Glaceon, which was given the name Iron Frost, and Umbreon, which was named Iron Shadow. Except for Eevee, MDSM_art seems to be making futuristic versions of the Eeveelutions, though that could change with the remaining Pokemon. The artist has done a good job so far and will hopefully be able to keep it up. Paradox Pokemon are an interesting concept and will hopefully be expanded upon when DLC forPokemon Scarlet and Violetdrops in the future.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violetare available now for the Nintendo Switch.
