Pokemon GOGreat League is among the fan favorites, given the league’s rewards and CP limit. Niantic has announced a twist to the league in the form of the Great League Remix. The change comes in the form of enthusiasts having to rethink the team they would typically have for the Great League. Both leagues run in parallel, with the Remix format switching things up completely.
Pokemon GO’s Great League Remix started in July 2023. Most rules between the two will be similar, with the max CP cap of 1500 still in play; however, the 20 most-used Pocket Monsters ranked level Ace and above are restricted from participation. It is difficult to say what the ‘best team’ for the Great League Remix will be; that entirely depends upon what kind of monsters players encounter during the battle. However, there’s a list of monsters who can put up a good fight under the CP cap.
