A talentedPokemonfan completed concept artwork of Eevee and its evolutions as humans while taking inspiration from popular RPGs. Eevee is one of the original Pokemon that appeared inPokemon Red and Blue, and its popularity continues unabated inPokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Introduced as one of the 151 first-generation Pokemon, Eevee would go on to become one of thePokemonfranchise’s most popular creatures. Eevee is one of the most unique Pokemon due to having eight possible evolutions: Espeon, Flareon, Glaceon, Jolteon, Leafeon, Sylveon, Vaporeon, and Umbreon. Eevee would also be the star ofPokemon Let’s Gofor Nintendo Switchalongside the ever-popular mascot, Pikachu. Recently, a fan decided to create original human characters based on Eevee and its evolutions.

Reddit user andPokemonfan Jimbojims0 completed original concept artwork of Eevee and its evolutions as Gijinka, which is the fandom’s term for humans with the ability to transform into Pokemon. The artwork depicts each Eevee evolution as a fantasy RPG character seemingly inspired by games such asThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim,Genshin Impact, andMonster Hunter. Each character represents a form of Eevee with its clothing, hair color, and differences in their demeanor. For instance, the Eevee-based character in the middle appears to be a young adventurer while the Glaceon character appears to be an old, battle-hardened warrior.
Jimbojims0’s artwork quickly became a source of discussion in thePokemonReddit community since Gijinka are normally not depicted as warriors and fantasy RPG heroes. Each character may be seen with his own unique weapon, and their designs also reference each evolution’s elemental abilities. These interesting new ideas for Gijinka quickly won oversomePokemon Scarlet and Violetplayersthat also enjoy other RPGs.
The new concept artwork accurately represents each Eevee form in a very creative way. Although Gijinka aren’t a typical occurrence in the canon world ofPokemon, these fantasy RPG designs pay homage to both the genre andPokemon. This artwork may also inspire players to seekall eight evolutions of Eevee inPokemon GOandPokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Currently,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers may obtain all eight Eevee evolutions by acquiring an elemental evolution stone or meeting certain conditions. These conditions include raising Eevee’s friendship level and leveling the Pokemon up during a specific time of day. A new Eevee evolution appears unlikely for the foreseeable future, but special variants are still possible due to events likeEevee Tera Raid Battles.
