A talentedPokemon Scarlet and Violetfan shared their fan art showing what it would look like if Kecleon had a paradox form.Pokemon Scarlet and Violetintroduced players to a new series of adventures across the Paldea region. As a result, Pokemon Gen 9 continues to inspire interesting fan art, showcasing ideas that often elevate the original design.
One of the Pokemon to receive fan art is Kecleon, one of the monsters introduced in Gen 3. Kecleon may not be one of thestrongest Pokemon of Generation 3, but fans still remember the Pokemon. The Normal-type Pokemon is a green bipedal reptile capable of camouflaging itself like real-life chameleons by changing its colors at will. Despite this, Kecleon cannot camouflage the red zigzag strip around its midsection. ForPokemonfans who appreciate curious facts, Kecleon was one of the first Gen 3 Pokemon revealed, along with Wailmer and Azurill.

Reddit user PhatmonMonstraros created a paradox form for Kecleon named Ghostly Tail. This is a Past Paradox Pokemon with similarities to the original Kecleon, like the green body and the red strip on the body. The difference is that part of Ghostly Tail’s body is transparent, the Pokemon has a large tongue and three horns on its head, one of which is transparent. Adding the horns to the frill’s design on its head, Ghostly Tail has a similar appearance to that of a triceratops, which would expand the list ofPokemon based on dinosaurs.
In addition to the creative design, PhatmonMonstraros also shared a Pokedex entry for Ghostly Tail. The Paradox Pokemon is Normal/Ghost-type, a rather rare type combination that only Hisuian Zorua and Zoroak have. With this, fans have anotherPokemon transformed into a Ghost-typethrough fan art. The Normal/Ghost-type combo makes sense, as according to PhatmonMonstraros this Pokemon is a master of camouflage that is almost impossible to be seen or captured. For the more tactical fans, it is possible to imagine that Ghostly Tail would have access to moves like Shadow Claw, which interestingly Kecleon can learn in Gen 8.
ThePokemoncommunity is famous for its creativity in not only making inspired designs but also for bringing interesting context information to them. Fans have seen Game Freak createPokemon with very strange designs. On the other hand, the fan art made by PhatmonMonstraros is not based on anything too complicated or weird but stands out thanks to the simple yet effective formula.
