Rise Kujikawa represents the Lovers Arcana inPersona 4 Golden. Players will have glimpsed Rise as far back as the first cutscene, but she’ll make her first appearance in Inaba aroundP4G’s halfway point. By then, the protagonist should have started more than a handful of Social Links. Thus, players will want to start managing their free time if they want to complete Rise’s Social Link as well.
Persona 4 Goldenplayers can start the Marukyu Striptease dungeon on June 25th. However, Rise’s Social Link won’t be available until a month later (in-game). This gives players plenty of time to rank up and possibly max out other Social Links before the Lovers Social Link officially becomes available.

Where to Find Rise
Rise’s Social Link unlocks onJuly 23rdin-game. From then on, she’s availableFriday, Saturday,andSundayas well asholidays. Like other Social Links, the protagonistcan’tspend time with her onrainy days. During weekdays, Rise can be found in theClassroom Building 1F. On Sundays and holidays,she’ll be standing outsideMarukyu Tofuin theSouth Shopping District.
Since most of the responses to her give 3 points, Rise’s one of the easier Social Links to Rank Up. However, it’s still recommended to bring aPersona of the Lovers Arcanato speed up the process. These Personas are all part of the Lovers Arcana:
Rise’s Persona learns some great Support Abilities as the Social Link advances. It’s highly recommended tocomplete her Social Link on a first playthrough, or, at the least, get it to Rank 9 for herProtectAbility.

As stated, Rise’s Social Link will automatically get to Rank 1 onJuly 23rd. None of the responses will give any Social Link Points, so choose whichever feels best. Unlike Ai and Naoto, there aren’t any choices that can Reverse the Social Link, but players will still want to rack up as many points as possible during each Rank.
IfP4Gplayers find they’re still missing points to reach the next Rank, they can try and spend time with Rise during the evenings (she’ll be near Marukyu Tofu), orthey can draw a fortunefromTatsuhime Shrine.

If the protagonist isalready in a relationship with another girl, they’ll want to be careful with the answers for this Rank. When the protagonist is given the option to hug Rise,P4Gwill treat it as a “confession.” Although it sounds cruel, the best option is to “Stand there”… unlessP4Gplayerswantto date them all. In that case, select the first option.

Like Rank 1, any of the responses made during Rank 10 won’t influence the Social Link. The protagonist is given a dialogue option in the Relationships Version of Rank 10, but this doesn’t matter in the long run. The scene and lines will be altered to accommodate the player’s choice from Rank 8.

Social Link Completion Reward
As a reward for all the help, Rise will give the protagonist theSigned PhotoKey Item. This will carry over into NG+ and allows players to create the ultimate form of the Lovers Arcana: Ishtar. As an ultimate Persona, Ishtar has -dyne tier spells (ex: Maziodyne)as well as healing skills: Mediarahan and Samarecarm.
Ishtar can be fused regularly (ie: does not require a Special Fusion). However, she won’t be available if the protagonist isbelow her level. Players will want to get to at least level 71.
Since Rise is a party member, her Persona, Himiko, will undergo a transformation intoKanzeon. As a bonus, Kanzeon will also learnWeakness Scan, which will immediately identify a Shadow’s Affinity Weakness at the start of battle. Getting Kanzeon is also required ingetting Rise’s third-tier Ultimate Persona, Kouzeon, in the third semester.
