Atlus has revealed the release date for the upcomingPersona 3 ReloadEpisode Aigis: The Answer Expansion DLC, launching on July 17, 2025.Persona 3 Reloadis the remake of the 2006 title, overhauling the original game by giving it brand-new visuals, remixed music, and several gameplay tweaks to make it align with more modernPersonagames. WhileReloadomitted The Answer epilogue fromFESin the base game, the latter is being remade as DLC forReload’s Expansion Pass.
ThePersona 3 ReloadExpansion Passwas announced to have three waves of content that would regularly be released throughout 2024. The first wave was released on March 12, adding two sets of background music fromPersona 4 GoldenandPersona 5 Royal, allowing players to listen to certain songs while exploring a dungeon. The second wave was released in May, which added new Velvet Room-themed attire for every party member, along with remixes of the series' iconic Velvet Room theme. The third wave, the aforementioned DLC campaign, was announced for release in September, and Atlus has narrowed down when it will launch.
The release date for The Answer DLC, July 07, 2025, was revealed during thePersonaLive Tour 2024 concert, in a new trailer. The release date of the DLC is significant, as it was the day that Aigis was first awakened, outside of her test run inAigis' solo game,Persona 3: The First Mission. This trailer briefly shows some gameplay of Episode Aigis, where players explore a new dungeon that has opened underneath Iwatodai Dorm, The Abyss of Time. Aigis and S.E.E.S. meet a brand-new character, Metis, who is an Anti-Shadow Weapon like Aigis, and uses a Persona named Psyche.
When does Episode Aigis: The Answer Release?
While The Answer DLC’s story is the same as the original’s, there is going to be a number of gameplay elements and content that will be added that make it a different experience. Some of these additions includenew socialization events with Metis, which are akin to the Dorm Hangouts inReload, along with Fusion Spells for Aigis, a mechanic she didn’t have access to inFES. This trailer also teases some of the interactions and story of The Answer, along with some of the re-recorded dialogue from Metis. Metis appears to also be voiced by a different actor in English, similar to the cast change made forReloadin the English dub.
