Sanji is the cook of the Straw Hats and a member of the Monster Trio. He is one of the five original members who joined the crew back in East Blue. Like any other Straw Hat, Sanji is an integral member of the crew. He has helped his crewmates many times and saved them from certain death.

Sanji’s importance to the crew cannot be overstated, and he continues to prove his worth in everyOne Piecearc. The Wano Country arc gave Sanji some pretty epic moments, making his catalog even more impressive. Given that he has been involved in some of the biggest events inOne Piece, it is only fair to list his greatest achievements.
7Saving His Family
Sanji is the third son of Vinsmoke Judge, which makes him a prince of the Germa Kingdom. Sanji is nothing like his siblings, who are transfixed with killing people. They bullied Sanji throughout his life, and it was only when Reiju freed him that he was able to live his life.
Sanji was reunited with his family on Whole Cake Island, and as expected, it wasn’t a good experience for him. The Vinsmoke Family was betrayed by the Big Mom Pirates, who planned to assassinate them. Considering the amount of emotional damage the Vinsmokes had caused Sanji, he had absolutely no reason to rescue them. However, he did it anyway because of his kindness.
6Defeating Queen
Ever since the time skip, Sanji’s fights have been few and far between. The arcs have mainly focused on Sanji’s character development. However, things changed in the Wano Country arc. Sanji’s main opponent in the arc wasQueen, one of the All-Stars.

Queen was Sanji’s strongest enemy to date, and initially, the Straw Hat was struggling. However, once Sanji awakened his latent powers, the tide quickly turned in his favor. Sanji completely overwhelmed Queen, and the All-Star couldn’t do anything but watch the Straw Hat beat him to a pulp.
5Saving The Straw Hats From Crocodile
The Straw Hats have experienced many hiccups on their travels. During their journey to Alabasta, they were trying to help Vivi save her country from the clutches of Crocodile. The Straw Hats were completely outfoxed by Crocodile, who managed to imprison them in a cage made out of sea stone.
The crew would have certainly perished if Sanji had not tricked Crocodile into leaving.With the Shichibukai out of the way, Sanji infiltrated the building and rescued his crewmates, showcasing his importance to the crew once again.
4Stopping Doflamingo
When the Straw Hats made their way to Dressrosa, they had only one thing in mind: to take down Doflamingo. However, the Shichibukai had planned to separate the crew and pick them off one by one. Sanji’s team was on the Thousand Sunny near Green Bit. They were holding Giolla hostage, and Doflamingo couldn’t have one of his officers under the control of the enemy.

So, Doflamingo tried to swoop in and attack Nami and the other Straw Hats present on the ship. Luckily for Nami and co., Sanji was there to save the day. Sanji attacked Doflamingo, whichstopped the Shichibukai in his tracks. Sanji was only able to thwart Dolflamingo for a limited amount of time. However, it was sufficient for Trafalgar Law to join the fray and help the Straw Hats get away safely.
3Fought Both King & Queen At The Same Time
The Wano Country arcfeatured one of the biggest battles in the entire series. The war took place in Onigashima, and there were many big-name pirates involved in it. The sheer number of pirates on the island meant there were times when a character had to face off against more than just a single opponent. In Sanji’s case, he had to fight both King and Queen.
When Zoro was still recovering, Sanji had to step in and hold off the two All-Stars at the same time. Despite the caliber of his opponents, Sanji wasn’t overwhelmed. He did a brilliant job of buying Zoro enough time, and then the two Straw Hats went on to win their respective fights.
2Dodged Katakuri’s Attack
Charlotte Katakuri is one of the Sweet Commanders of the Big Mom Pirates. He was introduced in the Whole Cake Island arc, where he fought against Luffy. Katakuri is one of the few characters inOne Piecewho can use all three types of Haki. Charlotte Katakuri specialized in Advanced Kenbunshoku Haki, and with it, he was able to see the future.
While Sanji was getting married to Pudding, Charlotte Katakuri launched a jelly bean toward Sanji with the intention to kill him. However, Sanji managed to avoid the attack by using his Kenbunshoku Haki. This was an extremely impressive feat, considering Katakuri was using Future Sight to attack Sanji.
1Preventing Momonosuke From Being Executed
Sanji is known for being the most clutch Straw Hat after Luffy. Sanji has saved the Straw Hats time and time again from various threats. Sometimes he has used his wit to get them out of danger, while other times he has had to rely on his strength. His rescue of Momonosuke was a combination of both things.
The war in Wano was waged to oust Kaido from his status as ruler of the country. Once Kaido was defeated, Momonosuke would replace him as Shogun. However, Kaido was aware that the alliance’s morale was highly dependent on Momonosuke’s survival. So, he captured him and decided to execute him. If Momonosuke was eliminated, the alliance would not be able to continue. Momonosuke was tied up and ready to be executed. Luckily for Momonosuke, Sanjihad the Raid Suitand used its power to turn invisible and save him.
