TheChefosaurus Rexis a non-combat Deviant that helps around the player’s house inOnce Human. They’re giant, stuffed, fire-belching dinosaur plushies that breathe a bit more life into the homes of players by cooking food and running around while they aren’t doing anything.
It isn’t entirely clear what a Chefosaurus does, but if you’re here to collect all the friendly deviants, then you’ll want to get one of these dinosaurs all the same. Getting a Chefosaur is going to involve a bit of fighting, socraft the best guns you can inOnce Human, and get ready for a trip to the wasteland.
How To Get A Chefosaurus Rex In Once Human
The easiest way to get a Chefosaurus Rex in your base is to do a sidequest from Lowe calledThere’s A Dragon Here. This quest becomes available once you reach level 15 and get toMeyer’s Market. You may also need to finish theDigby Boyquest from Lowe in Deadsville first if this one isn’t available.
The There’s A Dragon Here quest will send you to the old town of Sunbury to investigate the appearance of a so-called dragon, according to Lowe. Follow the quest marker to the location, and you’ll eventually arrive at the Vulture-occupied neighborhood. These guys are human enemies, and they’re armed with guns, melee weapons, and explosives.Pack plenty of ammo, because you’ll eventually find yourself in a gunfight.
Speak with the Chefosaurus in the diner’s kitchen, and the quest will update. You’ll need to prepare the following dishes:
There will be ingredients in the containers surrounding the Chefosaurus. Cook one of each, then give them to the Deviant until it is satisfied. Once it approves of your cooking, it’ll turn into a deviant bubble that you can capture like everything else.
Securement Silo Phi
Another way to get a Chefosaurus is to clear Securement Silo Phi, a dungeon found northwest of Greywater Camp in the Iron River region. This Securement Silo is very easy to do solo, but to get to where the Chefosaurus is, you need to go to a secret area. The enemies here aren’t all that hard to beat, but dobring the best weapons you can get inOnce Humanjust to be safe.
Start the silo run as per usual, then proceed until you get to the room where you need to open the big double doors with a keycard. Instead of doing that, look for an elevator in the same room, then go down. This will lead to a tunnel with a dimensional rift at the end. Pass through the rift, and you’ll find yourself in a hospital. Enter the room at the end of the hallway, and you’ll then be teleported somewhere else.
Enter the void and defeat all enemies in it. A portal will soon open, and you’ll find yourself in a child’s room. There’s a chance that either a Chefosaurus or aPyro Dino(an offensive variant of the Chefosaurus) will appear here. There’s also a chance that nothing will appear at all. If a deviant does appear, simply interact with it and hope that it gets captured.
