Inthe first episode ofMs. Marvel, the scene in question makes it seem like a floating camera is following Vellani. As she falls onto the couch, the motion is seamless, and there are no wires or equipment sticking out in the background. Fans would assume that Vellani was wearing a body rig, but that’s not the case. The behind-the-scenes video reveals that a rather large rig was created that follows Vellani’s movement to specifically capture this scene. As she falls over, the rig that has a camera attached on one end also rotates, all while following her every move.

That’s not all. It took the crew “15 days to build that rig.” The directors themselves refer to the scene as “simple and short,” but confess that because they wanted it to look seamless, things became “complicated.” The idea was for the rig to follow Vellani, and to get it right required time and patience.
The first episode ofMs. Marvelhas introduced how Vellani’s Kamala Khan gets her powers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is quite different from the comics.
