With Season 5 of Invasions Mode comes a bunch ofbrand-new Klues, the very first of which is called BALLING OUT. Found on the Hot & Ready node in the Living Forest mesa, this thought-provoking puzzle requiresMortal Kombat 1players to spam a particular move in order to gain access to some nearby chests.

Thankfully, unlike some previousMortal Kombat 1Klues that required players to land a ridiculous amount of attacks, BALLING OUT can be completed by landing ten hits or fewer. This may still seem like a lot to some players, but given how little damage the attack in question does, solving the BALLING OUT Klue really isn’t all that bad.

How to Solve the BALLING OUT Klue in Mortal Kombat 1

To solve the BALLING OUT Klue, players will need tospam Reptile’s Force Ball Attack, which can be performed by pressing Down, Forward, Front Kick (X on PlayStation, A on Xbox, or B on Switch) while standing at close or medium range. It’s unclear at this time exactly how many Force Ball attacks are needed to successfully clear the node, but landing ten of them definitely does the trick. In somepreviousMortal Kombat 1Klues, blocked attacks haven’t always counted toward the this total, so players should assume that this is once again the case here.

BALLING OUT Klue Rewards

Once players have completed the BALLING OUT Klue, the nearby debris will be destroyed, granting access to the nearby chest. Inside, they’ll findGeneral Shao’s Hostile Potential Skin, aShow Me Your Moves Uncommon Relic,Geras' Melt Time Palette, and250 Seasonal Kredits. If players then press forward on the D-Pad, they’ll be taken to yet another chest, though this one will need to be unlocked using an Ornate Key. As the Hot & Ready node is found right at the start of the mesa, there’s a good chance that players won’t have a key on them at this time, sin which case they’ll need to return later once they’veearned enough Krownsto buy one.
