AccentDesign has posted on the PlanetMinecraftwebsite the city of New Austinia.Creating a city inMinecraftis no ordinary task, and the digital artist proves this with the project. Through the images, AccentDesign shows an ultra-realistic city with cars, trees and a beautiful sky, and buildings of various colors and heights (including a Giorgio Armani store). In a video released on their YouTube channel, AccentDesign gives a tour of the Marina, the only completed area so far.
To realize the project, the player used a highly realistic resource pack to create a city that delivers the closest possible experience to real life.Texture packs change the feel ofMinecraft, and in this project, the player used the Amberstone Foliage texture pack to give the vegetation a realistic look. AccentDesign also used the Ambient Blocks mod to create the sounds of the city, the second most impressive aspect of the project. In the video, is possible to hear the roar of the sea waters, and the sound of seagulls, while the city reproduces the urban scenery with car sounds. When the player enters one of the buildings, it also plays “lounge music.”
Minecraftis excellent for alleviating boredomby allowing players to be immensely creative. The project by AccentDesign explores the design possibilities of Mojang’s title, creating a city that impresses with its scale and lighting system, with shadows and reflections in the water. The vast amount of features and possibilities make everyMinecraftgameplay different, immersive, and fun, making it possible to do almost anything the player wants.
