InMinecraft Legendsplayers will need to construct defenses to protect villages and homesteads while also leading the charge into enemy territory and commanding their army. Initially players only have access to basic walls, towers, and golems, but these quickly give way to powerful mobs and support structures as the game progresses.
One powerful structure players ofMinecraft Legendscan eventually unlock is called the “Blast Tower.” This powerful host tower launches devastating explosive projectiles over a great distance, but cannot be enhanced by nearby support buildings. While the number that can be deployed is limited, the sheer power of the Blast Tower makes it astonishingly useful in both defensive and offensive scenarios.

How to Get the Blast Tower
In Campaign Mode players will need to explore the world andhunt down those question mark icons on the map.Eventually, with a bit of luck, players will find an old Blast Tower and trigger a cutscene where the Hosts discuss how it works. Once this has been done, players will need to construct the “Improvement: Collect Power Towers” at an Improvement Hub. This Costs 100 Stone and 100 Prismarine, and allows players to use gold and an additional resource to pick up the Power Towers scattered around the game world. Once this upgrade is unlocked, players can use a little gold and coal to pick up the Blast Tower.
In Multiplayer, players will instead need to create the “Improvement: Build Power Towers”, which allows their team to construct the towers for 400 stone and 600 redstone. This improvement costs 200 stone and 120 prismarine, and is well worth it for the sheer power offered by these towers.

How to Use the Blast Tower
After gaining the ability to construct these towers, players will want to place them at choke points and other areas where enemies tend to amass in large numbers. The AOE damage and excellent range allows these towers to thin the horde from a decent distance, and continue offering support even as they close the gap. These towers, like other Power Towers, should not be deployed without defenses (walls and additional towers, maybe a few mobs too) as they are costly to replace.
In Single Player, a special item acquired from picking up a Power Tower is required to build that tower, and is lost if the structure is destroyed, making this even more important (though it is refunded if the tower is deconstructed by a player to allow for relocating the towers safely). While they cannot be buffed by nearby structures, the Carpenter Hut is able to repair them when they get damaged, so it’s important to build one in range.
