Litten is the Fire-type starter ofPokemon Sun/Ultra SunandPokemon Moon/Ultra Moon. It didn’t appear in the base game ofPokemon Scarlet & Violet, but thanks to the Indigo Disk DLC, you may now catch your own Litten without having to rely on trading or transferring.
When fully evolved, Litten becomes the Fire/Dark-type Incineroar. If you plan on filling out the Blueberry Pokedex inPokemon Scarlet/Violet, you’ll need to catch and evolve the fire kitten Pokemon. Much like the other starter Pokemon from Gens 1-8, Litten will only appear if you’ve contributed enough Blueberry Points (BP) at the League Club in the Indigo Disk.
Where to Find Litten in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Canyon Biome
Litten appears in theCanyon Biomeof Terariumafter you’ve contributed 3000BP to the Terarium Club (Canyon Biome)by using thecomputer in the League Club. BP are Blueberry Points, which are currency you gain from completing Blueberry Quests (BBQs). These quests are random tasks that are assigned to you after you’vecompleted your first class in Terarium.
You’ll gain access to theLeague Clubafter you’vehad a rematch with Carmine at Central Plaza. Thus, you’ll want to verify you’ve completed “The Way Home” main quest and the Kitakami/Teal Mask storyline.
Once the Canyon Biome has expanded, you’ll find Littenroaming the mountains and rocky pathsabove Chargestone Cavern. Look in the area of the Canyon Biomebelow the wall separating the Canyon and Polar Biomes. You can also search along the roadwhere you tested the Synchro Machineat Central Plaza.

How to Trade & Transfer
You cantransfera Litten from anotherPokemongame by usingPokemon HOMEon the Switch. You can also send one toHOMEinPokemon GOby going into Settings -> Connected Devices and Services ->Pokemon HOME. Litten is obtainable inPokemon Sword & Shield’sIsle of Armor DLC. To get it, you’ll need to find 100 Alolan Diglett on the Isle of Armor, and speak to the hiker by the bridge leading to Mustard’s dojo. Litten will be the reward for 100 Alolan Diglettonlyif you chose Scorbunny as your starterinSword/Shield.
If you have Litten inSword/Shield, make sure it’s in a PC Box, then save and exit. Go intoPokemon HOME, and accessSword/Shieldto move it to theHOMEbasic box. Open upScarlet/Violetto complete the transfer.
If you want totradefor Litten, you’ll need a Nintendo Online Membership subscription if you’retrading with someone online. If you have this, you can useScarlet/Violet’s wireless connections. Join or Form a group in theUnion Circle, and then you’ll be able toTradeby selectingLink Tradein thePoke Portal.
How to Evolve Litten and Torracat into Incineroar
What Level Does Litten Evolve?
Litten evolves into Torracat when it reacheslevel 17. To evolve Torracat into Incineroar, you’ll need to raise it tolevel 34. If you’re evolving a Litten you caught in Terarium, level it up once to evolve it, then one more timeto achieve its final evolution.
Despite its appearance, Incineroar is a Fire/Dark-type Pokemon. It will want to learn its signature move, Darkest Lariat, upon evolution. This is a Dark-type, physical move that neglects the opponent’s stat changes when it hits. It’s a useful move to have on Incineroar, since its base Attack is arguably its best strength. Incineroar’s worst base stat is its Speed, but this can be mediated a little if your Incineroar has a Jolly (+Spd, -Sp.Attk) Nature.
