Utility Fable Arts inLies of Pgive players more advantages in battle at the cost of spending Fable Art meter. This ranges from an attack damage or attack speed boost, to adding elemental damage to their weapon, using these Fable Arts at the right time can help playerstake down bosses.
With the game having tons of Handles for normal weapons as well as Special Weapons at players’ disposal, picking which Utility Fable Art is the best can be cumbersome. Luckily, here’s a list of the most advantageous Utility Fable Arts players can activate in the heat of battle.

Handle / Blade Part
Krat Police Baton Handle
The Strike Chance Fable Art might be misleading, as far as its name is concerned: it doesn’t give P a chance to strike at the enemy, but it grants P’s next attack that hits a temporary damage increase. At the cost of one Fable Art meter, it could help P eke out that one last hit to take out mini-bosses and bosses.
In the early levels after acquiring the Krat Police Baton Handle, this is a somewhat underwhelming Fable Art. That said, for Motivity builds, this Handle is a decent one to pair up with the Greatsword of Fate Blade part.

Clock Sword Handle
Once activated, the Bell of Provocation Fable Art attracts enemies to attack P. It also grants P and the enemies increased attack power for the duration. This Fable Art is a niche one that can be used for players who want togrind for Ergo.
However, using this in boss battles is a bad choice since bosses already make a beeline towards P, even if they summon the Spectre for help. Giving bosses an attack boost is also a bad proposition: only the most foolhardy and brave players who want to challenge themselves even further would activate this Fable Art against bosses.

Master Chef’s Knife Handle
Carcass Crystal Axe Handle
One of the key combat elements inLies of Pis managing his stamina during battles. Dodging attacks and winding up for aStagger-breaking attackrequires proper stamina usage, especially during boss fights where every damage counts.
For players who are struggling to manage their stamina consumption, the Conserve Energy Utility Fable Art is a decent option. Once activated, P’s stamina will slowly be drained when being used for dodging and attacking enemies. Once players get the hang of stamina management, they’re better off usingmore powerful Fable Arts.

Puppet’s Saber Handle
City Longspear Handle
For players who want to go for a balanced build, the Puppet’s Saber would be the first weapon they would choose since it’s equal in both Motivity and Technique. Its Utility Fable Art is Concentrate: when activated, it boosts P’s attack damage for a short duration.
This is a useful early Utility Fable Art against enemies and bosses since it bolsters P’s attack damage. The additional attack damage can also be prolonged by picking theproper P-Organ upgrade, but it will take a bit of investment and story progression: by this time, other Handles with better Fable Arts would be available.

Acidic Crystal Spear Blade
Apart from the various Puppet and Carcass enemies, players will encounter Human enemy types as they progress through the story and discover new areas. Humans are exceptionally deadly due to their quickness and strong attacks.
This is where the Radiate Utility Fable Art comes in: activating this before a fight with a Human-type enemy will make it easier for players to take them down. Acid damage seeps into Human enemies, and they are dealt damage over time once they are afflicted with the Decay debuff. Using this alongside the Acid Abrasive against Human enemies will give P a significant advantage.

Salamander Dagger Blade
Carcass-type enemies become commonplace once players begin exploring the Pilgrim’s Path. They are deceptively nimble enemies and can overwhelm P if he is not careful. Luckily, taking care of these enemy types is easy thanks to the Ignite Utility Fable Art.
Using this Fable Art sets P’s weapon aflame and deals more damage to Carcass-type enemies. On top of this, hitting enemies enough will inflict them with the Overheat debuff which will substantially eat away at their health bar. Using Ignite with the Fire Abrasive is excellent against Carcass-type bosses as well.

Electric Coil Stick Head
Majority of enemies inLies of Pare Puppets which become increasingly dangerous in the latter stages. They come wielding different types of weapons, but they all share one weakness: Electric damage. This is where Generate comes in handy.
Generate is a Utility Fable Art that imbues P’s attacks with Electric Blitz attack damage once it’s activated. Getting this Utility Fable Art requires players to get the Electric Coil Stick Head.

This greatly enhances damage against Puppet enemies, mini-bosses, and bosses. Using this alongside the Electric Blitz Abrasive will further prolong the Electric Blitz buff. This is useful against bosses and keeps the debuff on them for longer.
Uroboro’s Eye
As players reach the final areas and encounter more formidable bosses, getting as many hits becomes just as important as using the proper elemental-laced attacks. This is where theSpecial Weapons come into play: these are usually acquired after beating bosses and exchanging their Ergo to Alidoro, the Hound.
The Storm Notice is a unique Utility Fable Art exclusive to Uroboro’s Eye Special Weapon. This weapon can be acquired by exchanging the Sad Zealot’s Ergo to Alidoro. Once activated, P is given an extended combo for his attacks on top of decent attack damage.

Frozen Feast
One of the best features of Special Weapons is that they can transform and grant P more devastating attacks. This is the case for Frozen Feast and its Utility Fable Art, Liberate. Once activated, Frozen Feast shatters its outer shell, revealing an azure blade that can now be swung at a faster rate than conventional Greatswords.
During boss fights, unleashing this ability can do a number against such enemies, and the increased attack speed allows for more hits to connect. That said, managing Stamina becomes a more prevalent issue when wielding this weapon, since players can get carried away and swing this at enemies with reckless abandon.

Proof of Humanity
Tyrant Murderer’s Dagger Blade
Critical hits are generally reserved for the more nimble builds inLies of P. Weapons under the Technique tree usually have the Critical Hit buff: some weapon handles and blades can be mixed and matched to provide more customization in combat, such as the Pistol Rock Drill Blade and Tyrant Murderer’s Dagger Blade.
However, the Proof of Humanity Special Weapon is arguably the best weapon with the Grind Fable Art. It is a Balance-type weapon that hits hard and fast. Adding Grind to its arsenal makes it even deadlier against all types of enemies.
