Riot Games has not slowed down on the announcements for the MOBALeague of Legends. The developer had just recently released Zeri and are already teasing their next champion. Recently, Riot Gamesteased a bunch of new champions during a dev videothat will be coming to Summoner’s Rift sometime in 2022.

Now, it looks as though the developer is ready to further tease the background of the nextLeague of Legendschampion. Riot Games has created a website called Glasc Industries that acts as a sort of company webpage for the new champion. Presumably, this champion is the founder of this company, named Renata Glasc.

That, of course, is not yet confirmed, but the only name present on the page was that of the founder, Renata Glasc. The website paints Renata Glasc in a positive light, an innovator and visionary that wishes to expand Glasc Industries to Piltover while also introducing new products that redefine beauty through technology. Interestingly enough though, as stated in the dev video, this champion will be a dark enchanter support that will make “players feel like the boss that they are.” It appears as though the technology and enhancements that Glasc Industries manufactures will be making their way to Summoners Rift.

Regardless, of whether theLeague of Legendschampion is indeed the founder Renata Glasc, this new champion is confirmed to be from Zaun or Piltover. This means that, like Zeri, this new champion has a goodchance of being teased or introduced in the upcoming seasons ofArcane. Zeri appears to be a heroine, while, if the tease in the developer video is to be believed, this support will potentially be some form of antagonist.

If this is the case, it’s a smart decision that simultaneously expands bothLeague of Legendsand the seriesArcane. As for the champion’s abilities, there wasn’t much information present, but from what is written on the site and the teases given early, it’s safe to assume thissupport champion will have a kit that enhances allies through damagerather than healing.

It’s also not known when this support champion will be coming out. February seems too soon for a new champion release, as Zeri was only released a week ago. March or April seem like a more likely window becauseLeague of Legendsis still going through itsLunar event that features new champion skins. Still, a reveal this quick after the release of a champion is exciting news. At this pace, 2022 looks as though it will be a great one forLeague of Legends.
