WWE 2K23will no doubt contain many hidden details and Easter eggs for fans of professional wrestling, such as thetwo special John Cena variantsthat can be controlled in the 2K Showcase and the team-based MyFaction modes. Other fans have been hard at work recreating various former WWE stars that weren’t included inWWE 2K23’s standard roster for one reason or another, such as former WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion andThe Mandalorianguest star Sasha Banks.

As it turns out, players can also recreate tag teams thatdidn’t make it intoWWE 2K23, such as the recently re-formed team of Ricochet and Braun Strowman. Reddit user TaxableBread discovered that the pair’s special tag team finisher, which has Ricochet climb onto Strowman’s shoulders before jumping off and landing on a downed opponent, can be selected as the “Skyscraper Senton.” Other users in the comment section of TaxableBread’s video post expressed their pleasure at having this option, as well as relief that Tag Team Finishers can now be assigned in Universe Mode, something that was marred by technical issues in last year’sWWE 2K22.
Indeed,WWE 2K22was seen as a promising returnfollowing the franchise’s two-year hiatus, and judging from early reviews ofWWE 2K23it looks like developer Visual Concepts has managed to build off last year’s iteration to great effect.
