With around 80 of them available at launch,Marvel’s Spider-Man 2offers players a ridiculous amount of options when it comes to spidey suits. Some offer only slight variations on the classic Spider-Man look, while others are based on different versions of the character, or in some cases, different superheroes and villains entirely. However, when players first begin their playthrough ofMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, they’ll find that they’re forced to use the Advanced Suit 2.0 and Upgraded Suit for Peter and Miles respectively.

Thankfully, after completing the game’s tutorial section and exploring the city a little, players will learnhow to change suits inMarvel’s Spider-Man 2as part of the Suit is Sandy main story mission. This also unlocks the Suits menu, which is where players will be able to unlock new suits for Peter and Miles as well as new Styles for some of the ones that are already available to them. However, there are a few things that players will need to keep in mind.

How to Unlock New Suits in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

Most of the suits inMarvel’s Spider-Man 2are unlocked once players reach a certain level, though there are some that are tied to main story progress and the completion of certain side activities.Once they’ve unlocked a new suit, players will need to head into the Suits menu and craft it, which will require things likeTech Parts, City Tokens, and Hero Tokens. Assuming players have unlocked a suit and have all of the necessary crafting materials, they’ll simply need tohighlight it and then hold the X button to craft it. If players don’t have the required materials, they can instead press Triangle to find out where they can find whatever the things that they’re missing.

In terms of actually unlocking the suits in the first place, though, players will mostly just need toplay through the game and level up. 48 ofthe 68 suits available in the base version ofMarvel’s Spider-Man 2are unlocked by leveling up, with a further 12 of them tied to main story progress. The remaining eight are unlocked by completing side quests, such as Mysteriums, Hunter Bases, and EMF Labs.
