After completing the tutorial in the early section ofAssassin’s Creed: Mirage, Basim will set-out into the city and surrounding areas of Baghdad. While the game has been significantly pared down compared to other recent titles in the series, there is still a huge amount to see and do. Like always, hunting down collectibles will be near the top of Basim’s to-do list. Dervis' artifacts are simply another example of this age-oldAssassin’sCreedgameplay system.
That’s not to say there is nothing to gain by chasing down all ofDervis' Artifacts.Assassin’s Creed: Miragewill award players handsomely for every milestone reached. This guide will explain how to find each artifact, and list each tier of rewards Basim will receive.
How to Find Dervis' Artifacts in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage
Tofind Dervis' Artifacts inAC Mirage, players must first reach the point in the game where Basim has full access to all of Baghdad. After the events of the tutorial section, of which Dervis plays a key role, Basim will be reunited with the man after becoming an Initiate in the Hidden Ones. Dervis will then set up an ongoing side-quest, tasking Basim with finding – and obtaining – a series of valuable artifacts from specific citizens.
Each district of Baghdad contains a specific number of artifacts, and are always found on a specific person. The count for each district is:
This guide will present all ofDervis' Rewardsin the above order. Remember that some of the artifact holders will not be stationary, so the location presented may simply be a point upon their walking route. Use Enkidu to search the general vicinity if the NPC does not appear in the precise location.A golden line will emitfrom the location, similar to the Gear Chests, Lost Books, and other important collectibles (AC Mirage’s Pathfinder skillis required for some of these). When Enkidu gets close enough, players will see Dervis' Artifact is represented by a small, golden icon of a hand grabbing an item.
All Dervis' Artifact Locations in Harbiyah
Dyeing Factory 1:
Thefirst of Dervis' Artifactscan be foundjust outside the Dyeing Factory. This location is conveniently close to Dervis, and acts as a sort of tutorial for the mission as a whole. In the above image, players will see a gray X, which is left behind when players collect the artifact. Normally, players will see a small, golden icon of a hand grabbing an item.
Dyeing Factory 2:
The second artifact in Harbiyah is foundslightly east of the Dyeing Factory. The factory is the closest POI, with the Upper Harbor found to the south.
Zubaydiyah (First Reward):
The third artifact is found in the Zubaydiyah region, just south of the Nestorian Monastery. Head south from the Monastery, past the Ditch Sluice of the Fief, and find the artifact on man standing at a small table, offering some kind of service to the small farming village.
If players have been following the order of this list, this will be the third of Dervis' Artifacts collected, making them eligible for the first reward. Return to Dervis at the Dyeing Factory to receive crafting materials.
Damascus Gate Prison:
The final artifact in the area is found just south of the southern corner of the Damascus Gate Prison. From that southern corner, make a straight line down to a small group of palm trees visible on the map. The artifact will be found just beyond that.
All Dervis' Artifacts Locations in Abbasiyah
Hidden Ones Bureau:
The first location is just south of the Abbasiyah Hidden Ones Bureau. It can be found slightlysouthwest of the Mosque Viewpoint.There is a small row of stalls along the river where Basim will find the mark preoccupied with his daily tasks.
The Four Markets:
The next artifact, and sixth overall, is found in the Four Markets district. This area is on the northern border, south of the Soap Boiler’s District of Harbiyah. This mark will be on the move, making Enkidu an invaluable asset in locating him.
Hammam/Scholar’s Estate:
The third artifact in the area is found south of the Hammam POI, and west of the Scholar’s Estate. Look for the mark sweeping in a central courtyard.
Dome of the Ass:
This final artifact in Abbasiyah is found in the southern region of the district. Basim will find the mark walking around a small courtyard between the Dome of the Ass and the Great Bimaristan.
All Dervis' Artifact Locations in Karkh
Monastery of the Virgins (Second Reward):
This ninth artifact is found between the Monastery of the Virgins and the House of Poulterers. Look just north of the area’s Blacksmith, right next to the Trader. This will be the ninth overall artifact, making Basim eligible for Dervis' second reward.
Harbor Camp:
The tenth artifact is found just outside the Harbor Camp, in the region’s northeast section.
Al-Mi’dhana Al-‘Ateeqa:
The eleventh artifact is found neat the Al-Mi’dhana Al-‘Ateeqa Viewpoint location.Use Enkidu from the Viewpointto spot the mark, who is on a small floating dock between the Cookmen’s Quarters and the Viewpoint.
The Bazaar:
The next artifact is not far from the previous. Head southwest from the Cookmen’s Quarters to find the Bazaar. Artifact eleven is found just outside its eastern walls.
All Dervis’ Artifact Locations in Round City
Harem:
In the southern section of Round City,Basim will find the thirteenth artifactjust east of the Viewpoint that sits southeast of the Harem.
Postal Bureau:
The next artifact is found on the western side of Round City, between the Postal Bureau and the wall.
Shurta Headquarters:
The final Round City artifact is found on the eastern side, between Shurta Headquarters and the wall. It is almost a mirror image of the previous artifact.
All Dervis’ Artifact Locations in the Wilderness
Jarjariya:
The first Wilderness artifact is found in Jarjariya, in the southern region of the district. This small village is roughly halfway to the swamps that sit on the southeastern edge of the map. The mark is found very close to the area’s Viewpoint.
Anbar Winter Palace:
The next artifact is found in the northwestern corner of the map, in Anbar province. The artifact can be found just after entering through the main gates of the village.
Western Wilderness/Excavation Site:
The final artifact is found on the western edge ofAC Mirage’s Wilderness district. The artifact is found on a merchant who is set up east of the Excavation Site that is sitting right on the western edge of the map. The Oasis Viewpoint is likely the closest.
All Dervis' Artifacts Rewards
Dervis will award Basim crafting materials for all three tiers of the mission. The real reward forcollecting all Dervis' ArtifactsistheTreasure Hunter Costume. This is a costume, meaning it does not alter or change any effect that Basim’s current outfit imparts.
The player will also unlock the ‘Curio Collector’ trophy/achievement as soon as all artifacts are turned in to Dervis.
