AGenshin Impactleak has revealed a couple of images that feature some of the upcoming playable characters that are tied to the Fontaine region. So far, HoYoverse has added four out of the seven major regions that belong to Teyvat, the game’s main continent.
Each of theseGenshin Impactnations has a symbolic element and a representative Archon who serves as the region’s protector. The official storyline usually revolves around each of these Archons and their pursuit to keep their respective regions safe. The ongoing Sumeru storyline has featured the Dendro Archon Nahida who managed to save her nation from various villains such as the Fatui Harbingers.

A new leak on a popular Chinese online forum named Baidu Tieba has revealed a couple of in-game images featuring three different Fontaine characters. The screenshots were also posted on the popularGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit, but they got taken down by the moderators. The character whose complete model got leaked is expected to be Neuvillette who has been mentioned bythe Dendro Archon Nahidain one of her voice lines. There is not a lot of information about him other than that he’s the Chief Justice of Fontaine, which means that he will probably be a very important character in the main storyline. Players claim that his role could be similar to Jean, the Acting Grandmaster in Mondstadt, and Ningguang, The Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing.
Even though the two other leaked images don’t feature the characters' faces, it’s not hard to guess their identity. The two are the popular sibling duo Lyney and Lynette who were featured in one of the game’s first story teasers back in 2020 which confirmed theirties to the Fontaine regions. Over the last couple of weeks, credible leakers have revealed more information about these two characters.
Lyney is portrayed as a young male character with violet eyes and pale skin who can be recognized by his top hat and black cape. According to arecentGenshin Impactleak, Lyney will be a five-star bow user that uses the Pyro element. His sister is expected to be an Anemo sword user who has a lower four-star rarity.
These leaks should be taken with a grain of salt since the release of Fontaine is still a couple of months away. Recent rumors have also revealed that the upcomingGenshin Impactupdate 3.7 will feature anew character from Fontaine named Charlottewho is expected to eventually join the playable roster once the new major region arrives.
