Genshin Impactfans have noticed an unusual detail with the recently revealed four-star character named Kirara. She’s the only character confirmed for update 3.7 which breaks the usual pattern of adding at least two new characters per update that HoYovers established since the Sumeru major region arrived.
She is confirmed to be a new four-star character inGenshin Impactthat belongs to the Inazuma region where she works for the popular delivery company named Komaniya Express. Kirara’s design is apparently based on a Youkai, which is a supernatural creature that often appears in Japanese folklore.

A Reddit user by the name dphnrfls has shared two interesting screenshots that reveal an unusual detail about Kirara. The post has pointed out that Kirara has two pairs of ears. This is not the first time for aGenshin Impactcharacter to have similar features as therecently added five-star Pyro user Dehyahad the same features. While fans had many theories about what the purpose of two ear pairs was, HoYoverse did not address the matter in Dehya’s quest line. Some fans speculate that Kirara’s cat ears are just part of a headpiece, but others claim that they could be real considering that her two tails, as well as her paws, seem very realistic.
Kirara’s bio has revealed that she is very devoted to her job and she was even offered a promotion on multiple occasions. However, Kirara refused every time since it would require her to do more indoor secretarial work. She perceives every delivery as an exciting adventure. This is also reflected in her kit asrecentGenshin Impact3.7 beta leaksrevealed that her Elemental Skill will allow Kirara to curl up on a delivery box and travel with a movement speed buff.
She deals damage whenever she crashes into an enemy, and she can even climb walls while in this state which is very useful for new players that don’t have their stamina bars fully upgraded.Kirara’s Elemental Burstwill throw a box at the enemy which will split into smaller particles and deal damage when in contact with an opponent.
Overall fans seem to Kirara’s kit with many Travelers claiming that while she might not be an S-tier character on the battlefield, she offers a lot of utility outside combat. There is still no information about her exact release date, but going by HoYoverse’s usual update schedule,Genshin Impactversion 3.7should drop around May 25.
