WhileGenshin Impactis getting quality-of-life featuresin Version 4.3, an understated highlight of the patch also appears to be that it’s one of the stronger weapon banners in recent update history. Weapons that complement a character (and their role in the team) can elevate their power significantly, and Signature Weapons are tailor-made for each individual 5-Star.
However, not allSignature Weapons inGenshin Impactare made equal, as some of them can fit several characters perfectly – such as Staff of Homa being considered the best option for both Hu Tao and Zhongli in a non-HP centered build. The same can be argued for the upcoming Signature Weapons in Version 4.3, as Mistsplitter, Thundering Pulse, and Engulfing Lightning are all considered premium options beyond the character they were designed for.
Though HoYoverse shared the Weapon Banners for the first half of Version 4.3 on Twitter, theGenshin Impactsocial media team accidentally shared the Weapon Banner for the second half as well. It was caught by fans over at theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit, and it reveals some interesting 4-Star Weapon options that will be accompanying the Signatures. The key additions to the Engulfing Lightning and Thundering Pulse Banner are Rust and Favonius Sword, which almost outright confirm that Kujou Sara will indeed be joining Raiden’s banner once again.

Engulfing Lightning is a great option forZhongli inGenshin Impactif players don’t have a spare Staff of Homa to give him, though characters reliant on their Elemental Burst like Raiden, Xiangling, and Rosaria will benefit from the weapon a lot more. Thundering Pulse is one of the best options for main DPS Bow characters, where Yoimiya, Yelan, and a mono-Pyro Lyney team would get the most mileage out of the weapon. A Favonius Weapon is almost always appreciated due to its Energy Recharge secondary stat, as well as the Windfall effect, while a fully upgraded Rust can be a great consolation prize for Yoimiya or Tartaglia fans who haven’t gotten their Signature Weapons yet.
That being said, the real winners of Version 4.3 are undeniably Navia fans, as they will be able to pursue her Signature Weapon without worry. Mistsplitter Reforged is one of the best Swords in the game and adds great value to anyone’s Genshin Impact account. While Navia may not necessarilyfix the Geo element inGenshin Impact, her Crystallize-based gameplay opens up new team compositions that don’t rely on mono-Geo.
