Summary
Sigewinne, the newest Hydro character inGenshin Impact, brings a unique blend of healing, support, and Hydro application to the game. Her versatile kit allows her to fit into a variety of team compositions, making her a valuable addition for players looking to enhance their strategies. However, like many characters, optimizing Sigewinne’s performance requires an understanding of her abilities and how best to utilize them. Many players often make common mistakes that can hinder her effectiveness, from misinterpreting her kit to choosing the wrong artifacts and weapons.
While in Sigewinne’s case, her kit is quite straightforward, some details can still impact gameplay, reducing Sigewinne’s potential to support and sustain the team effectively. Here’s everything players need to pay attention to when it comes to correctly playing Sigewinne to fully leverage her capabilities while avoiding mistakes that can cost players valuable resources.

5Not Understanding Her Kit
While Sigewinne’s kit is quite straightforward, due to the length of the texts, players might find it quite confusing, which also may make players often overlook her strengths. In short, while her Elemental Burstsimply provides DPS, the bread and butter of her kit is her Elemental Skill, which is how she can provide her off-field Hydro application, healing and a buff to Elemental Skills. That being the case, players should simply focus on activating her Elemental Skill as often as possible.
4Not Prioritizing her Elemental Skill
Following from above, Sigewinne’s Elemental Skill is essentially the only part of her kit that players should spend heavy resources on unless they are planning to go for her high constellations, which can transform her intoa more viable sub-DPS. Her basic attacks are largely ineffective and should be entirely ignored during her rotation, as well as for talent upgrades to save on resources and her Elemental Burst, while useful, is not as critical as her skill, and as such is optional during the rotation. That being the case, her Elemental Skill is top priority when it comes to talent upgrades, and players should aim to at least increase it to level 9 for optimal performance.
3Not Building Her Right
While Sigewinne is relatively easy to build, not focusing on HP on her kit can Iseverely limit her effectiveness for healing, and even her DPS. That being the case, players should generally focus on prioritizing HP for most of her main and sub-stats, though Energy Recharge is also useful as a secondary stat for those planning to utilize her Elemental Burst. Artifacts like Song of Days Past and Ocean-Hued Clam are excellent choices for her healing effectiveness, while also providing some DPS through the artifacts' 4-piece set bonuses.
2Not Considering Certain Team Synergies
Players often fail to consider team synergies when using Sigewinne. While healers are versatile, Sigewinne excels in specific setups, such asBloom teams with Nilouand in particular with characters that have off-field Elemental Skill DMG like Furina, or Yae Miko. It’s also worth noting that while Sigewinne’s kit mentions Bond of Life, she isn’t particularly synergetic with other BoL users such as Arlecchino or Clorinde, as she cannot heal over their Bond of Life, but she can still regain some energy by clearing her own Bond of Life.
1Not Equipping Support Oriented Weapons
Interestingly, while most characters generally benefit the most from their signature weapon, in Sigewinne’s case, this is not entiely correct, as her signature weapon, Silvershower Heartstrings is more DPS oriented, despite providing a massive amount of HP. As it only benefits her with added Crit Rate, and HP, consider equip herwith support-oriented weaponslike Elegy for the End or Favonius Warbow instead, which will allow her to provide the team with additional buffs. On the other hand, if players are interested in her C6, then her signature weapon becomes the best option, as with this constellation her DPS potential is massively boosted. Equipping options like Favonius Warbow also allows her to be more resource efficient, since players are able to obtain this weapon much easier, and won’t need to spend Primogems for her bow.
