A new post on theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit has revealed which weapons will appear in the upcoming 3.5 Weapon Banner. The most powerful items on the Weapon Banner usually serve as signature weapons for the five-star characters that are featured on the Limited Character Banner. The only new weapon in the first banner cycle forGenshin Impactversion 3.5will be Dehya’s five-star claymore named Beacon of the Reed Sea. According to the leak, the upcoming weapon banner will include the following items:
The new claymore will perfectly fit Dehya’s playstyleas its passive increases ATK by 20% after an Elemental Skill hits an enemy or if the weapon holder takes damage. The weapon also has the potential to increase the character’s max. HP by 32% if they are not protected by a shield which means that players should avoid using supports like Zhongli, Diona, or Noelle.
Some fans have said that the Beacon of the Reed Sea seems like a very generic weapon that can be used by almostevery claymore character inGenshin Impactas it provides three crucial stats for close combat: ATK, Crit Rate, and HP. Staff of the Scarlet Sands is Cyno’s best weapon since it increases the holder’s ATK based on their Elemental Mastery, which has become common with Sumeru characters.
Similar to Dehya’s claymore, Cyno’s signature weapon also grants additional ATK whenever the character attacks an opponent with an Elemental Skill. Many players consider this weapon very niche since it’s very reliant on the character’s Elemental Mastery and there are not too manypolearm characters inGenshin Impactunits that prioritize this stat.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
