This unique domain is by many considered the hardest piece of end-game content which requires players to clear out waves of enemies within a certain time limit in order to get various rewards.
The enemy lineups in the Spiral Abyss keep changing every couple of weeks which means thatGenshin Impactplayers need to constantly adapt their team compositions to counter the opponents' weaknesses. The domain consists of 12 different floors, each of which is harder than the previous one.

A Reddit user named hammy851 has shared an interesting chart for version 3.4 that reveals the most popular picks in the current phase 3 version of the Spiral Abyss. At the top of the list with an 85.6% pick rate is the popular Dendro Archon Nahida who was added back in update 3.1. She is widely considered the best Dendro character in the game and a must-have for team compositions that rely on this element. Nahida is also a very flexible character since her Elemental Burst provides different types of buffs depending on the elements it interacts with. Rumors claim that players who missed her first appearance will apparently have the chance to pull for her duringGenshin Impactupdate 3.6.
The second character on the list is another Archon, the Geo user Zhongli who has an 81.4% pick rate. Zhongli is probably thebest neutral support inGenshin Impactsince his Geo element can hardly interfere with any other elemental reactions in the team composition. The Geo Archon can provide the best shield in the game with this Elemental Skill, Rex Lapidis.
The four-star character Bennetttook the third spot on the list, despite having a lower rarity. Similar to Zhongli, he is also a very flexible support who can apply one of the strongest heals in the game with the help of his Fantastic Voyage. Players who want to take his supportive abilities to the next level should try to get his first constellation which lifts the HP restriction on the burst’s ATK buff.
Kaedehara Kazuha is probably thebest Anemo support inGenshin Impactas he can provide a lot of crowd control with his kit. He also has the potential to shred enemies' resistances which is very important in the last couple of Spiral Abyss floors.
