There are dozens of ways to get cars inForza Horizon 5, meaning duplicates can build up and start taking up space in the Garage. They can be removed, but a nicer way to clear a car collection is to gift it to another player.
These Gift Drops can be left for a specific type ofForza Horizon 5player, like a Hall of Fame member, someone new to the game, or a community contributor, but they cannot be left for a specific person. This means friends cannot gift each other cars.
How to Gift Cars in Forza Horizon 5
There are two ways to gift cars inForza Horizon 5:
Before a Gift Drop can be sent from the My Horizon tab, however, players must have discovered at least oneBarn Find location inForza Horizon 5. Once the Gift Drop section has been selected, players will then have to navigate to the car they would like to give away.
To find a specific type of vehicle easier, press Y on consoles to select filters like Performance Class, Car Type, or Drive Type. Using the Menu button also allows vehicles to be found by their manufacturer. For example, if searching for theDeLorean DMC-12 inForza Horizon 5, press Menu, look for “DeLorean” from the alphabetically sorted list, and choose the DMC-12 when the tab jumps to that section.
After selecting a car, players will then be given the choice to gift it to anyone, new players, returning players, community contributors, or newHall of Fame members inForza Horizon 5. Following this, a pre-selected phrase needs to be attached to the Gift Drop, and a signature of players' in-game name or Gamertag. It can also be left unsigned. Gifting a car from a previously discovered Barn follows the exact same process.
When another player claims the Gift Drop, they are given the choice to send Kudos if they like the car. Kudos can also be earned by getting likes on custom liveries and tunes. The number of Kudos received can be checked from the My Horizon tab in the pause menu, underneath the Gift Drop tile.
Ifbuying and selling a lot of cars inForza Horizon 5, gifting vehicles is a good way to make another player happy while making room in the Garage for more. However, if space is needed quickly, players can always remove a vehicle from their garage in an instant by going to the “Change Car” tile on the “Cars” tab of the pause menu, and choose “remove car from Garage” after selecting a vehicle.
