FortniteSave the World daily login rewards have been a steady source of V-Bucks for Founders for years now, but that is about to change with the v25.10 patch.Fortnitehas three main game modes: Battle Royale, Save the World, and Creative. Save the World is completely different from Battle Royale; it’s anonline co-op game, and players fight the environment together instead of trying to take down one another.FortniteBattle Royale took off in terms of popularity and became Epic Games’s main focus, but initially, Save the World was supposed to be whatFortnitewould be known for.

BeforeFortniteleft early access, players could purchase a Save the World Founder’s Pack and they would receive exclusive rewards for acquiring it. Eventually, these packs became unavailable, but the perks that they included didn’t. Save the World Founders got access to daily login rewards and daily quests, both of which grant V-Bucks.

Daily login rewards have been a great passive way to get free V-Bucks inFortnite, but this will no longer be the case.Update 25.10 is adding tons of content toFortnite, but it’s also taking some things away from its fans. As of June 20, daily login rewards will be entirely removed from Save the World. In the announcement post, Epic Games assured players that they would still be able to earn V-Bucks at the same rate as before because STW daily quests would grant an extra 30 V-Bucks. This may be true, but it will take a lot more effort now for gamers to get their hands on them. And, unfortunately, Save the World missions can be quite repetitive, so many players will surely get fed up with them quickly.

Founders became instantly outraged as soon as they learned about this change toFortnite’s Save the World mode. In the announcement’s comment section, many pointed out how unnecessary it is to take this away from them. Founder’s Packs are no longer available, so it’s unlikely that Epic is losing that much money from an early access bonus. Epic Games is simply making it harder for its veteran fans to claim the V-Bucks they were promised when they invested in the game early on.

Daily login rewards would give away between 150 V-Bucks and 1,000 V-Bucks every few weeks, so this is a particularly upsetting change for Founders that had been logging in daily for a while now and were close to a big milestone. On the bright side, since Epic Games is forcing gamers to complete daily quests in order to get V-Bucks, at least they’ll be able to gain someFortniteBattle Royale seasonal XPwhile doing missions.
