What Do Weapon Proficiencies Do

Weapon Proficiencies are vital for players that are hoping to level up their units into more diverse classes. While it is possible to justuse a Master Sealto progress the unit’s class to a more advanced version of what they’re already using which may not allow them to try other weapons.

By unlocking other weapon proficiencies this allows the player to expand the variety of units they can bring into battle, as well as single units being able to use more than one type of weapon that can be advantages against their opponents.

How To Unlock A Weapon

Weapon proficiencies can only be unlocked through bonding with the twelve Emblem Rings available inFire Emblem Engage. As a unit bonds with the ring through battle as well as other activities they will unlock not only skills but also the proficiency of the weapons that hero commonly used.

Thankfully the player doesn’t have to keep the ring on the unit once this bond level has been reached either and therefore once the character has bonded to the right level they can tell progress to the advanced class through using a Master Seal.

The Quickest Way To Bond With An Emblem

Although a player can decide to take an emblem with a unit into battle to strengthen the bond between the two characters, an easier and faster way to level up these characters' supports is by having the unit the player wishes to level up fight against the Emblemin the Arenathat can be accessedthrough the Somniel.

As long as the player has enough bond fragments available they can directly level the relationship between the two characters to the required bond level needed to unlock that weapon proficiency.
