Annapurna Interactive, the publisher behind surprising indie hits likeStray,The Outer Wilds,andNeon White,hosted a digital games showcase with a slew of new titles, developer profiles, and exciting updates to existing titles. The indie publisher is also making its first foray into internal game development and revealed its maiden voyage project—which is attached to a major Hollywood IP,Blade Runner.
Interspersed between the gaming updates were intimate looks at some of Annapurna’s developers, including the Kyoto-based Marumittu Games and Jacob Williams of Glass Revolver. Annapurna’s offerings will appeal to a wide range of gamers, though recurring themes throughout the showcase include self-expression, narrative-focused gameplay, and positivity.

Lorelei and the Laser Eyes
A surreal thriller andpuzzle game,Lorelei and the Laser Eyes' semi-hypnotic trailer promises gameplay featuring pattern recognition, mazes, and a hint of international intrigue. Developed in Malmo by SIMOGO,Loreleiboasts striking magenta-on-monochrome visuals and an in-fiction warning for players to be wary of whom they trust. Sharp-eyed viewers will also notice a conspicuous sequence of maze-like glyphs at the tail end of the trailer, which may hint at the game’s intrigues before it launches for Switch and PC.
Cocoon
A new game from Geometric Interactive calledCocoonis on the way with a unique mechanic for exploring ‘worlds within worlds.’ In the trailer, a character with insect-like wings is shown jumping into objects that become entire levels, inInception-esque nesting doll environments. The project is headed by Jeppe Carlsen, best known for his work as the lead gameplay designer ofLimboandInside.The trailer announces thatCocoonwill be launching on Game Pass for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, as well as on PlayStation, Switch, and Steam on June 04, 2025.
Lushfoil Photography Sim
Lushfoil Photography Simis a serenegame about snapping picturesin photorealistic recreations of a number of diverse environments. The player’s in-game camera is fully featured, and each environment features secret objectives that only observant players with an eye for perspective will discover. The environments shown in the trailer range from scenic lakes and snowcapped mountains to steppe-like fields of grass and rows of vermilion Torii gates.
To a T
To a Thas an unusual protagonist with a unique condition: the player controls a boy named “Teen” who appears to be stuck in a T-shaped posture as he tries to lead a normal life in a coastal town. Themusicaltrailer makesTo a Teeseem like an all-ages affair, and while the gameplay is hard to assess based on the visuals, developer Uvula and lead designer Keita Takahashi describe it as a 3D narrative adventure game with an emphasis on exploration and character interactions.
Flock
Lead artist Richard Hogg and designer Pip Warr lead players through a narrated playthrough of their airborne creature collector,Flock.Unlike mostmonster collection games, players don’t do battle to subdue new creatures into their floating entourage, but rather maintain careful proximity to charm animals into joining their flock. Players will be able to tame sixty different flying creatures, including floating sheep who can produce wool for character customization.Flockis coming soon to Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam.
Ghost Bike
Developed by Los Angeles developer Messhof,Ghost Bikesees players controlling a bicycling youth from Freehub City. As the last of the Ghost Bikes, magical couriers who work between the world of the living and the dead, it is up to the player to beat ghosts in contests of speed to accumulate ghost power. The game features a 3Dcell-shaded aestheticwith a very vibrant color pallette and appears to split the difference between laid-back bicycle-based exploration and thrilling races against specters.
Mundaun (Platform Update)
Mundaunbills itself as “a hand-penciled horror tale” featuringmoody, monochromatic graphicsand an intriguing mystery. Originally released for Switch and PC, Annapurna has brought the game to PS5 and Xbox platforms. Each version of the game has a new update including bug fixes, additional languages, and 4K/60 FPS support.
Bounty Star
Bounty Starmarries intense over-the-shoulder mech battles to relaxing farming and base-building elements. Developed by Dinogod,Bounty Staris a bright title about becoming a force for good in a war-ravaged post-post-apocalyptic setting. The game covers some heavy themes through the lens of its protagonist, Clementine McKinney, who is a skilled fighter and former soldier trying to come to terms with her troubled past. Fans ofArmored CoreandStardew Valleyalikewill want to keep an eye out forBounty Starin early 2024.
Stray (Xbox Launch)
2022’s dark horse Game of the Year contender,Stray, is making its Xbox debut a little over a year after its PS5 and PC launch. Most commonly known as “the cyberpunk cat simulator,“Strayfollows an orange tabby trying to reunite with its family in a city occupied by robots and perilous monsters while engaging in typical cat shenanigans.Strayis coming to Xbox on August 10th.
Thirsty Suitors
Thirsty Suitorsis a narrative-driven title with turn-based battles and themes of rebellion, familial expectations, and self-expression. The trailer has bigScott Pilgrimenergy, with the main character, Jala, struggling to mend broken friendships and reconcile with her various exes before her sister’s wedding.Thirsty Suitorsis launching on Game Pass on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, as well as PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC on November 2nd, 2023.
Storyteller
Following its release on Steam, Switch, and Mac,Storytelleris also coming to Netflix on July 10, 2025, with a free content update that will also come to the game on all existing platforms. A puzzle game about storytelling,Storytellerallows players to place characters and items into various scenarios to complete objectives,specifically rewarding players who try “weird stuff.“The additional content coming in September features new characters, scenarios, and additional challenges.
Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth
Annapurna ended its showcase by pulling back the curtain on its first internally developed title:Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth.Set between the events of the first and secondBlade Runnermovies, the game will feature franchise staples such as the Tyrell megacorporation, flying cars, and a down-on-his-luck detective. The atmospheric trailer captures the ominous vibes of Ridley Scott and Denis Villeneuve’s dystopian views ofcyberpunkLos Angeles, but the exact nature of the gameplay and a release window have yet to be revealed.
