Elden Ringis full of interesting lore for gamers to piece together, though one key figure that fans have had the toughest time figuring out is Melina. Despite all the mystery surrounding her, Melina has become a fan favorite, with oneElden Ringfan even making their Tarnished look like her.
Months after release,Elden Ringfans are still theorizing about Melina. Herpotential connection to Rannidue to the two characters only having one eye has been brought up consistently, as has the theory that Marika is her mother. Ultimately, all fans know for sure is that Melina’s role is to guide the Tarnished and set the Erdtree aflame, with Melina also helping players spend their runes to upgrade their character. Reddit user supersaiyanvidel’s playthrough was unique, though, as they had two versions of Melina in their story - one of which was playable.

There is a lot to appreciate about this design, with the most impressive aspect being how well the Redditor nailed Melina’s facial structure. As many who have spent time withElden Ring’s character creatorwill surely know, mastering the game’s sliders is no easy task. Melina’s chin, nose, mouth, and eyes are spot on, though. Even with both eyes needing to remain open, the Redditor makes sure that there is a marking by one of them, nailing another part of the look.
Another strength of this design is how well Melina’s hair is copied over to the Tarnished version. The player keeps her unique pink locks intact, and the length chosen for the hair is also a match. Beyond that, the outfit is a terrific fit, as it looks just like what Melina wears below her black cloak. While players have made some exaggerated versions of the game’s characters likeBig Malikethand Fat Malenia, it is nice to see a fully accurate version of a key figure like Melina.
While theElden Ringplayer has not yet made note of the sliders used to recreate Melina, they do say that they plan on recording them and sharing them with anyone who is interested in playing as the Tarnished’s guide. Being able to make Melina through the character creator is good news for any fans that are interested in seeing more of her, as there is no telling if she will play a role inElden Ring’s leaked DLC. Regardless, this post speaks volumes about how popular she is, which is an impressive feat given how unclear her story is.
Not only could players be stumbling upon Melina copies inElden Ringco-op, but if rumors are to be believed,Melina may be coming toFortniteas well. Much likeElden Ringas a whole, it seems like Melina will remain in the public eye for quite some time.
