Elden Ringoriginally came out just a little more than a year ago in January 2022. The game has received glowing appraisal from fans and critics alike, sending the game’s immense success into the Game Awards. Eventually,Elden Ringeven won the Game of the Year award!

To this day,Elden Ringis still incredibly popular, and players continue to discover secrets in the Lands Between. Well, now, FromSoftware has announced that a new DLC forElden Ringis already in development. This DLC is calledShadow of the Erdtree. There’s not too much to go off of, but fans are still excited to be receiving even moreElden Ringcontent.
7Get All Six Endings
Just like otherFromSoftware games,Elden Ringhas multiple endings. InElden Ring’scase, there are six different known endings that the gaming community has discovered thus far. There are different requirements for each ending, so there are essentially six different ways to play through the game.
This makes for great runs through the title’s difficult new game+ modes. Some endings are drastically more different than others, such as harnessing the power of the Frenzied Flame, working with Ranni, and Cursing the Lands Between.
6Delve Into The Game’s Lore
In order to truly take in the masterpiece thatElden Ringstands to be, players must further their knowledge ofthe game’s strong lore. In order to do so, players would have to go out of their way to read item descriptions, listen to NPC dialogue, and visit optional locations. Of course, if players would rather not do so, there are plenty ofElden Ringfan videos and posts on the internet that discusses the deep lore ofElden Ring.
The lore is very important to the foundation ofElden Ring, and players can only assume the same for the game’s DLC. As some have speculated,Shadow of the Erdtreemay compare with past FromSoftware DLC and actually take placewithin a different timein the Lands Between. Some have even hypothesized that the girl on Torrent in the DLC art is actually Miquella. Whatever the case, fans should expect an incredible time fromShadow of the Erdtree.
5Perfect A Build
How players build their character inElden Ringis pretty important when considering the strongest enemies out there, especially when it comes to other people invading someone’s world. There are countless builds inElden Ring, even though some may be not exactly sufficient.
These can range from sleep builds, flame builds, and dexterity builds, to more nicheElden Ringbuilds that would deal with arcane, bleed,and dragon incantations. Whatever the case, it is wise to find a build before heading into the depths ofShadow of the Erdtree.
4Defeat The Optional Bosses
There are many moreoptional bosses inElden Ringthan there are main ones. With that said, players could have easily played throughElden Ringby solely defeating the game’s main bosses, and not even knowing how many other areas there are out there toexplore in the Lands Between.

A few of these optional bosses are even arguably some of the most fun and unique bosses to fight in the game. There’s Astel Naturalborn of the Void, Lichdragon Fortisaxx, and even Mohg, the twin sibling to Morgott.
3Do All The Side Quests
Just like there are optional bosses inElden Ring, there are plenty of side quests in the game that the player doesn’t technically need to complete. These side quests cover many different things, and they are difficult to follow without a guide asElden Ringdoesn’t typically offer much direction on these quests.
Players may have even been doing quests without realizing it. There are quests that will send the player into immense locations that are itching to be explored, or they could be simple quests that need the player to defeat a dungeon boss.
2Hone Your Skills In The Colosseum
Elden Ringkicked off its game in early 2022, and fans soon discovered an incredibly large Colosseum on the game’s map. Despite how suspicious it looked, there was no way to actually enter the Colosseum. That is, until now! FromSoftware gifted players a free update that offered a new PvP mode, the Colosseum.
In this mode,Elden Ringplayers will fight alone or as a teamagainst other players in the game. Essentially, this is the game’scorner for the sweats to show off their skills. This mode is fun though, especially with the right builds.
1Find And Venture Through All The Dungeons
There are optional bosses inElden Ring, optional side quests inElden Ring, and even optional areas inElden Ring. As such, there are dungeons across the incredibly large and beautiful map of the Lands Between that players can discover while running around.
These dungeons can be hard to find, but they’re well worth the rewards. There are dozens of dungeons for the player to dive into, and completing them all would be a brag-worthy task! These dungeons also have optional bosses within them, so be prepared!
